You may not be getting prepared for a major national disaster, but the government sure is. I have been informed that in recent months numerous emergency food companies have been contacted by the government, and they have been told that their inventories could potentially be seized in the event of a significant emergency. And as you will see below, the government recently participated in an exercise that simulated “an unprecedented global food crisis lasting as long as a decade”. In addition, NPR has just revealed details about the very secretive Strategic National Stockpile program that is storing billions of dollars worth of medical supplies in warehouses around the nation. This is a program that most Americans do not even know exists. On top of everything else, strange reports of military vehicles with UN markings have been coming in from all over the nation. So what in the world is the government up to? Why are they working so feverishly hard to get prepared?

Thousands of lives might someday depend on this stockpile, which holds all kinds of medical supplies that the officials would need in the wake of a terrorist attack with a chemical, biological or nuclear weapon.The NPR report indicates that most of the supplies are medical in nature, and this includes “millions of doses of vaccines“.
The location of these warehouses is secret. How many there are is secret. (Although a former government official recently said at a public meeting that there are six.) And exactly what’s in them is secret.
“If everybody knows exactly what we have, then you know exactly what you can do to us that we can’t fix,” says Burel. “And we just don’t want that to happen.”
What he will reveal is how much the stockpile is worth: “We currently value the inventory at a little over $7 billion.“
Could it be possible that the government is anticipating a major pandemic in our near future?

One day, you're just moving through life with everyone else in your office or at your church, and then, for whatever reason, the reality of how tenuous our current lifestyle is, hits you squarely between the eyes. You realize that electricity and grocery stores and transportation are all things that you've been taking for granted and that these things could actually disappear. Maybe you're concerned about a natural disaster. Perhaps you saw something on the evening news. It could even be a job loss that puts these things out of reach.
But whatever the reason, suddenly, you know in your heart that you need to prepare for a different type of future, just in case.
Where on earth do you even start with something like that?
Start with information
Before you start making enormous purchases or moving your family to a bunker, take some time to learn.
Information.
That is the key that unlocks the door to preparedness.
When you begin reading websites about prepping, sometimes it can be overwhelming. You see people talking about their one-year food supplies, their bug-out lodges, their ammo collection, and their homestead that is so far out in the wilderness that they have to climb a big pine tree on top of the mountain to get an internet connection (where they then boast online about their seclusion on a prepper forum).
Most preppers are just regular folks with a self-reliant mindset.
Getting started does not require a $20,000 investment or your children feverishly packing beans and rice into Ziplock bags late into the night. It requires enough information to properly assess your situation. It requires some guidance to help you develop a plan to keep your family safe, housed, and fed, regardless of what comes in the future.
So I want you to do three things. First, bookmark some websites. Second, begin building your preparedness library with books. Finally, create your own reference book from the information you're collecting.

Police Abduct 10 Children From A Family In Kentucky Because Of Their "Off The Grid" Lifestyle

If the government does not like the way that you are raising your kids, they will come in and grab them at any time without giving any warning whatsoever. Of course this is completely and totally unlawful, but it has been happening all over America. The most recent example of this that has made national headlines is particularly egregious. Joe and Nicole Naugler of Breckinridge County, Kentucky just had their 10 children brutally ripped away from them just because the government does not approve of how they are living their lives and how they are educating their young ones.
Let’s be very clear about this – Joe and Nicole had done nothing to violate the law whatsoever. All of their kids were happy, healthy and very intelligent. But because the control freaks running things in Kentucky got wind of their “off the grid lifestyle”, they have now had all of their children unlawfully abducted from them.
A lot of readers also lead “off the grid” lifestyles similar to what the Nauglers had been enjoying. The Nauglers own 26 acres in a remote area of Breckinridge County, and their family has been described as “extremely happy”. But despite never giving them a single warning or a single indication that anything was ever wrong, Kentucky police raided their home on May 6th. With so many catastrophic scenarios at play in the world today, more people are beginning to plan ahead by preparing for the worst-case scenario. Water shortages, currency collapse, solar flares, earthquakes, riots, plagues, martial law and war all threaten civilization. Some people are investing in rural property and equipping hidden locations, stocking up on food, water, ammunition and other self-sustaining necessities. Most preppers are also equipping their “bug out bags” in case an unfortunate event causes them to leave their home in a hurry.
Here are some reasons why bug out plans might just be a terrible idea, including alternative insight that may come in handy for those facing difficult situations.

Avoid close quarters and stressed situations that lack a sense of community
First, it’s important to note that humans are a territorial species. In close quarters, humans are more willing to become irritable and violent. In stressed and impoverished situations, humans lose character and moral judgment. In poor parts of the city, humans are both in close quarters and in stressed situations. This is why these areas harbor the highest rates of violence, theft and rape across the board. To reduce the likelihood of being beaten, killed, raped or pillaged at any time, it’s best to “bug out” now to a location with more space, privacy and independence. Any future bug out plan should aim for an adequate amount of territory that provides the tools to allow for prosperity and the rebuilding of a sense of community.
This means it might be better to learn real-life, hands-on skills rather than invest in a trove of excess supplies.
