Sweden to reopen rape case against WikiLeaks' Assange

Comment: They are intent on making Assange an example, one way or another.

---------------------
Associated Press

STOCKHOLM (AP) — Swedish prosecutors said Monday they are reopening a rape case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, a month after he was removed from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. They said they will seek his extradition after he has served his 50-week prison term in Britain for jumping bail.

va-Marie Persson, Sweden's deputy director of public prosecutions, told a news conference in Stockholm that "there is still a probable cause to suspect that Assange committed a rape." She added: "It is my assessment that a new questioning of Assange is required."

Swedish prosecutors filed preliminary charges — a step short of formal charges — against Assange after he visited the country in 2010, following complaints from two Swedish women who said they were the victims of sex crimes committed by Assange.

A case of alleged sexual misconduct was dropped in 2017 when the statute of limitations expired. That left a rape allegation, but officials couldn't pursue it because Assange was living at the embassy and there was no prospect of bringing him to Sweden.

The statute of limitations on that case expires in August 2020. Assange has denied wrongdoing, asserting that they were politically motivated and that the sex was consensual. Persson said a European arrest warrant will be issued for Assange. The Swedish move would leave British authorities to decide whether to extradite Assange to Sweden or to the United States, where he is wanted separately for allegedly hacking into a Pentagon computer.

Sweden: Dying to Be Multicultural (2017)

When we think of Sweden, we think blondes, Abba, and progressive politics. We may soon have to reconsider this image. Thanks to Europe's most generous immigration policies, the old Sweden is being replaced with a new Sweden. Based on his book Sweden - Dying to Be Multicultural, film-maker and journalist Pelle Neroth Taylor asks: Why do Swedes want a new country? What if this project fails?

The Swedish Are Micro-chipping Themselves By The Thousands

shtfplan.com

According to a report by NPR, the microchips can be used for a plethora of different things. The chips are designed to speed up users’ daily routines and make their lives more convenient when accessing their homes, offices, and gyms. The microchips make it is as easy as swiping their hands against digital readers. The microchips can also be used to store emergency contact details, social media profiles, e-tickets for events, and rail journeys within Sweden.

At least one scientist is speaking out on the possible negative outcomes of having a massive number of people microchipped. Ben Libberton, a British scientist based in southern Sweden, is among those starting to campaign for lawmakers to keep a closer eye on developments. “What is happening now is relatively safe. But if it’s used everywhere, if every time you want to do something and instead of using a card you use your chip, it could be very, very easy to let go of [personal] information,” he says. Libberton, a trained microbiologist now working in science communication, says one of his main concerns is how the chips could be used to share data about our physical health and bodily functions.

“Because it’s implanted in your body, when more health-related information starts being used and incorporated into the chip and being transmitted — that could create an extra layer of privacy that we really need to look at and take care of before it’s widely used,” he says according to NPR.

So many in Sweden are signing up to be chipped that the main company producing the microchips says it cannot keep up with the demand for this technology. More than 4,000 Swedes have decided the technology would be perfect for them and have a microchip embedded in their hand, but with one company, Biohax International, dominating the market, demand is outpacing supply. The chipping firm was started five years ago by Jowan Österlund, a former professional body piercer. After spending the last two years working full time on the project, Österlund is currently developing training materials so he can hire Swedish doctors and nurses to help take on some of his heavy workloads.

“Having different cards and tokens verifying your identity to a bunch of different systems just doesn’t make sense,” Österlund says. “Using a chip means that the hyper-connected surroundings that you live in every day can be streamlined.”

Sweden's 'Consent App' for Mitigating Draconian New Anti-Rape Law Under Fire

Sputnik

The app uses mobile bank ID technology to secure consent before intercourse by means of digital contract, which may reduce the risk of being sentenced to jail for having sex, which will have become imminent as all intercourse without an explicit consent agreement is about to become illegal in Sweden.
Stockholm-based female lawyer and defense attorney Baharak Vaziri has launched an app named Libra to alleviate the risks arising from the "consent law" that was passed amid the #Metoo anti-harassment campaign which will come into force on Sunday.

According to the app's website, the new legislation can lead to considerable difficulty for couples seeking to consummate their union, hence the tool to mitigate risks using a "digital contract."

"The app should make it easier and more empowering for people to enter into a sexual relationship, to make it based on free will and consent," the app's description in App Store said.

According to the Aftonbladet tabloid daily, the app was instantly criticized for allegedly making it harder for women to "regret" and have second thoughts during the intercourse.

Thousands of Swedes are inserting microchips into themselves – here's why

Phys.org

Thousands of people in Sweden have inserted microchips, which can function as contactless credit cards, key cards and even rail cards, into their bodies. Once the chip is underneath your skin, there is no longer any need to worry about misplacing a card or carrying a heavy wallet. But for many people, the idea of carrying a microchip in their body feels more dystopian than practical.

Some have suggested that Sweden's strong welfare state may be the cause of this recent trend. But actually, the factors behind why roughly 3,500 Swedes have had microchips implanted in them are more complex than you might expect. This phenomenon reflects Sweden's unique biohacking scene. If you look underneath the surface, Sweden's love affair with all things digital goes much deeper than these microchips.

The term biohackers refers to those amateur biologists who conduct experiments in biomedicine, but do so outside of traditional institutions – such as universities, medical companies and other scientifically controlled environments. Just as computer hackers hack computers, biohackers hack anything biological.

Biohacking is also a culture and a diverse one, with many different subgroups – all with different types of interests, goals and ideologies. But within this diversity there are two main groups: "wetware hackers" and transhumanists.

Wetware hackers are citizen science hobby biologists who build laboratory equipment from household utensils. They conduct so called "frugal science", where they find inexpensive solutions that will improve the living standards for people in developing countries. But they also do more playful experiments where plants are genetically modified to become fluorescent, or algae is used to make new types of beer.

The other group are the transhumanists, who focus on enhancing and improving the human body – with the aim, in the long run, of improving the human race. Only through bettering ourselves – and escaping biological boundaries – will humans be able to compete with AI in the future.

Often, different biohacking scenes reflect the different societies and cultures in which they develop. So, for example, European biohackers generally differ from their North American counterparts. North American groups are concerned with developing alternatives to the established healthcare practices. European groups, meanwhile, are more focused on finding ways of helping people in developing countries or engaging in artistic bio-projects.

‘Big as cats’: Huge rats flood Swedish city as authorities urge people to keep children indoors

RT

A Swedish city is battling a merciless enemy, rats 'the size of cats', prompting authorities to call on residents to keep doors and windows closed and pre-schoolchildren inside during breaks.
"There aren't the normal rats you see in the forest. They're as big as cats," Benny Sagmo from the planning office of Sundsvall city in northern Sweden, explained to the national TT news agency.

The rats have already spread out towards a residential area, according to Sagmo. "If we don't put a stop to it, they can get bigger and bigger…Those who live there can't even have their front doors or balcony doors open. I've told pest control that we're going all in!” he added.

Residents were told to keep doors and windows closed to prevent rats from getting access to food. They were also told to avoid having food for pets outdoors.

“Remember a rat can fit through a hole that is only 20 millimeters - a five-krone coin!” the warning from the city said.

In the meantime, local Trädet preschool has temporarily banned children from eating or taking their naps outside. "I decided that the children should sleep inside, because we can't risk rats jumping into the pushchairs," headteacher Mia Löfgren told SVT Västernorrland.

The majority of rats were spotted in Johannedal area of the city. The authorities suggest that the rats may come from the near-by recycling center which is in the process of moving, meaning that the rats' habitat is disappearing.

Sweden: Voyeurs Flock to Newly Gender Neutral Swimming Pool to Stare at Naked Women

Comment: Yet more insanity from the gender studies social policy groups.

------------------------------------

breitbart.com

A programme at a Swedish open-air swimming bath in Malmö that eliminated gender-separate areas to encourage transgender bathers has resulted in men taking the opportunity to stare at naked women.

The programme, called “Queer Kallis”, is held on the first Monday of the month at the Ribersborgs kallbadhus, an open-air bath in the heavily migrant populated city of Malmö.

What organisers soon found, however, was that while very few transgender people were making use of the programme, men and boys used it as an excuse to enter women’s showers, changing rooms, and toilets, Aftonbladet reports.

“They were in the showers, in the restrooms, in the locker rooms, and on the bathing bridges. The place was invaded by men, not by transgenders from what I could see. Everything felt incredibly unpleasant,” said Jeanette Larsson, a lecturer in diversity issues, who recently attended the open-air bath.

According to Larsson, many women chose to simply leave the bath due to the presence of the men. While she did note some transgender individuals, she remarked that they were stared at and mocked by some of the men.

“It should be understood by anyone that it will be an open market for those who are only interested in looking at women’s bodies,” she added.

Sweden Warns Every Single Household to Prep for WAR

Daisy Luther
The Organic Prepper

The government of Sweden has produced a 20-page pamphlet which they’ll be sending to each of the 4.8 million households in the country urging them to get prepared for…WAR.
Although they haven’t been at war for over 200 years, for some reason, right now, they want their citizens to get prepped – and fast. This goes along with an article I wrote in January of 2018 when the government urged their people to be ready to cope “without help” for at least a week.
Shortly before Christmas, the Swedish government quietly published a paper called “Resilience.” Initially, the requirement had been for people to be prepared for 3 days without help, but it seems like that was a baby step. The government itself wants to be prepared for a 3-month long civil emergency and they’re urging citizens to take responsibility, too.
It really makes you wonder what is looming ahead, doesn’t it? (source)
This, however, is a direct approach, with the preparedness instructions delivered to their doors.

Here’s what the government of Sweden is recommending.

The booklet, titled, If Crisis or War Comes, is an updated version of one distributed in the 1980s. It was compiled by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) and references several potential crises that could occur, according to the Swedish media:

  • disruptions to IT systems
  • incidents occurring in the rest of the world
  • climate change
  •  increased tension in the Baltic region
The brochure warns Swedes of things that every prepper knows. “In the event of a societal emergency, help will be provided first to those who need it most. The majority must be prepared to cope on their own for some time.” Here’s what Swedish website The Local has to say about the warnings.

Thousands in Sweden have implanted microchips in their skin for sake of 'convenience'

ZeroHedge

More than 3,000 people in Sweden have implanted tiny microchips beneath their skin to replace their credit card information, identification, keys, train tickets, among other everyday items, Agence France-Press announced Sunday.

The implant, which is about the size of a grain of rice, utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, also found in credit cards, debit cards, key fobs, and smartphones. This technology is considered "passive," which means the microchip stores data that can be read by other devices but cannot read data themselves.

his might resemble an Orwellian nightmare to many, but in Sweden, residents are flocking to get these implanted microchips by "convenience over concerns of potential personal data violations," AFP explained.

Governments in Europe quietly experimented with embedding the small chip in humans in 2015 in Sweden, and several other countries in the region, before the recent rollout.

"Swedes have gone on to be very active in microchipping, with scant debate about issues surrounding its use, in a country keen on new technology and where the sharing of personal information is held up as a sign of a transparent society," AFP notes.
Ulrika Celsing is one of 3,000 Swedes with a microchip implanted in her hand - a process called "biohacking." The 28-year-old told AFP, "It was fun to try something new and to see what one could use it for to make life easier in the future."

Celsing explained that the microchip has turned into an "electronic handbag" and has even replaced her gym card.

She can even book a train ticket online, and then use her hand like a ticket to board a train.

DISTURBING IMAGES: White Helmets caught faking rescues and doctoring dead children in PR stunt to start war in Syria

Alex Christoforou
The Duran

White Helmets have been caught faking rescues and doctoring dead children. The White Helmets are adored by western audiences, but loathed by those who have done their due diligence to recognized that the group is nothing more than ISIS in an NGO disguise.

Now a bombshell analysis from the Swedish NGO Doctors for Human Rights (SWEDHR) accuses the Syria Civil Defense (aka the White Helmets), of falsifying information about its "humanitarian work" in Syria.

According to Swedish human rights activists, so-called "rescue" procedures filmed in White Helmets propaganda videos, is a complete staged hoax.

The procedures in the video and photos below have been carefully analyzed to show that they were carried out on a dead child, who may have been killed by the White Helmets in order to film the footage.

Chairman of Swedish Doctors for Human Rights (SWEDH), Professor Marcello Ferrada de Noli, notes...

WHITE HELMETS: “A Child is Pretty Much Murdered Under the Camera Lights” ~ Maria Zakharova

21st Century Wire says…

The White Helmets. The biggest propaganda heist in the six year history of the dirty war against Syria is unravelling. The glamour of an Oscar is not enough to disguise the sordid details of the White Helmet ties to Al Qaeda (Nusra Front in Syria) and various other extremist, atrocity committing groups embedded in Syria by the NATO and Gulf state regimes. No amount of money laundering is going to wash their image clean after the latest series of reports from Swedish Doctors for Human Rights, exposing macabre, medical malpractice and suspected use of drugged or dead children as props in a propaganda campaign to unseat the Syrian government and to destabilize an entire nation & its people.

Part I of the SWEDHR series: WHITE HELMETS: Swedish Doctors Denounce Medical Malpractice and ‘Misuse’ of Children for Propaganda Purposes

Extract from the article:

“Dr Leif Elinder, a known Swedish medical doctor profile, author and specialist in paediatrics, summarised the following in his reply: [7]
“After examination of the video material, I found that the measures inflicted upon those children, some of them lifeless, are bizarre, non-medical, non-lifesaving, and even counterproductive in terms of life-saving purposes of children”.
Further, I received a detailed clinical statement from Dr Lena Oske, a Swedish medical doctor and general practitioner. In her statement, Dr Oske referred to the presumed, adrenaline injection, performed in the White Helmet video (excerpt in the photo above). Her specialist opinion dismisses the procedure conducted in the White Helmet video, as unqualified and incorrect. Furthermore, she describes the earlier assessment of the procedure by a colleague who had exclaimed:
“If not already dead, this injection would have killed the child!”

60 cases of female genital mutilation discovered in Swedish school

RT

Up to 60 cases of genital mutilation among elementary school girls have been discovered in Norrköping in eastern Sweden since March, local media reported. Among the cases, 28 girls were subjected to the most severe form of genital mutilation.

The abuse was discovered by health services in a Norrköping school in eastern Sweden, according to a report in local newspaper Norrköpings Tidningar.

Half of the 60 cases were detected in the same year in elementary school. Twenty-eight of these girls were subjected to the most severe form of genital mutilation, when all external genitalia is removed and the genital area is sewn together, with a small opening for urinating left.

Girls exhibiting severe symptoms were the easiest to detect, Petra Blom Andersson, coordinator of the Central Student Health Service, told Norrköpings Tidningar. She added that recurring headaches and severe menstrual cramps were important signals.

“One girl had such severe menstrual pain that she had to be transported from the school by ambulance to the Women’s Clinic,” Andersson said.

The girls subjected to FMG in Norrköping have been referred to the Youth Health Service, or a women’s clinic if they are slightly older, she said.

FGM has no health benefits, while complications can include severe pain, shock, bleeding, tetanus, sepsis, urine retention, recurrent bladder and urinary tract infections, as well as infertility, increased risk of childbirth complications and newborn deaths and other problems, according to the World Health Organization.

The practice has been illegal in Sweden since 1982 and can be punished with up to four years in prison.

As the summer holidays arrive, many girls travel with their parents to their parents’ home countries, where they are at a higher risk of being subjected to this brutal practice. However, since 1999 it is also an offence under Swedish law if the surgery is performed in a different country.

“We have a routine to always inform the parents, where we know or suspect that they are going to their home countries, they could face jail if they come back and the children have undergone female genital mutilation,” Andersson told the local media.

More than 125 million girls and women alive today worldwide have been mutilated in the 29 countries in Africa and Middle East where FGM is concentrated, according to the WHO. Surgical procedures are mostly carried out on young girls sometime between infancy and age 15, and occasionally on adult women.

The causes of FMG may be cultural, religious or social conventions within families and communities of certain regions. Among some peoples FGM is considered a necessary part of raising a girl properly and preparing her for marriage. Many girls who have the FGM procedure that seals or narrows the vaginal opening later need reverse surgeries to allow for sexual intercourse and childbirth.

Gangster 'who had pictures of Swedish king in strip club' shot dead in his car

Comment: By royal decree?

------------
Mille Markovic

The Independent

The underworld figure who claimed to have compromising photographs of Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf enjoying the hospitality at his notorious strip club has been shot dead in Stockholm.

Mille Markovic, a Serbian-Swedish businessman with a string of criminal convictions, was found slumped in his vehicle outside his home with gunshot wounds to his head, the Aftonbladet and Expressen newspapers reported. Witnesses said the shots were fired from another vehicle on Thursday evening, before the assailants sped off.

While police have not officially confirmed the victim’s identity, he has been widely named as 52-year-old Markovic, a man against whom many people held a grudge.

“He was involved in many conflicts on many different levels and had many enemies,” Jerzy Sarnecki, a criminology professor at Stockholm University, told the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper.

The former boxer had been convicted and imprisoned for a range of crimes including tax evasion, weapons charges, assault, fraud and blackmail. But it was his role in the scandal that engulfed the royal family through much of 2011 which cemented his notoriety in Sweden.

It began with the publication of a biography, The Reluctant Monarch, in late 2010, which contained lurid allegations about the King’s private life and portrayed him as a serial philander with a taste for sex parties and strip clubs. One of those establishments was Club Privé, a Stockholm nightspot run at the time by Markovic. He was believed to be a key source for the book and claimed to have photographic evidence of the King’s visits.
