US Navy effectively becomes a tool of modern piracy

Drago Bosnic | Aletho News

The political West has been conducting an unprovoked aggression against the entire world for at least half a millennium at this point. Whether through direct attacks and occupation or various forms of colonialism (that lasts to this day), the world’s most aggressive power pole has been a threat to every other country on this unfortunate planet. Although certainly not the only one, the primary tool of Western power projection have been navies, which is hardly surprising given the political West’s thalassocratic nature. Through naval supremacy, Western (primarily Anglo) powers have spread their colonial empires to virtually every corner of the world, exterminating the native populations along the way and settling in their lands.

Entire continents (such as North America and Australia) were secured through brutal genocide of the locals who now live in small, scattered communities (so-called “reservations/reserves”). The genocidal campaign continued throughout the Atlantic and Pacific, where numerous islands and maritime trade routes remain in Western hands to this very day. Controlling these areas is key to maintaining its stranglehold over global trade, as seen during the latest US attacks on inbound and outbound Venezuelan shipping. However, the Pentagon seems to be expanding this aggression to other countries trading with Caracas, including China, which is a major importer of Venezuelan commodities (particularly crude oil).

USS Liberty Veterans banned forever from Am Legion Nat’l Convention

USS Liberty Veterans banned forever from Am Legion Nat’l Convention

On June 8, 1967, 34 American servicemen were killed and 174 were wounded during an Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. According to former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas Moorer, “Those men were then betrayed and left to die by our own government.” The survivors are still awaiting justice.

If Americans Knew Blog

Survivors of the lethal 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty have been attacked, threatened, and bullied. Yet, they continue to speak out, and their fellow American veterans support the them, one of the most decorated crews in US Naval history.

In 2017 the members of the American Legion passed a resolution calling for a full investigation of the Israeli attack.

Despite this resolution, American Legion leaders continue to censor the Liberty, prohibiting them from having a booth at the national convention.

(If you feel this is wrong and wish to support these American veterans, PLEASE TAKE THE ACTION DESCRIBED BELOW)

[Note: The Liberty was a Navy electronics surveillance ship operating in international waters during the Six-Day War. Israeli forces perpetrated an extended air and sea assault on the ship that killed 34 Americans, injured 175, and damaged the ship beyond repair. Afterward, Israel claimed the assault was an accident and provided $6 million in compensation for the loss of the $40 million ship. More information here.]

Congressman Has Written An Official Letter To The Navy Demanding Answers On UFOs

Joseph Trevithick
The Drive

The letter says that the unexplained sightings could reflect emerging threats to American airspace and domestic security.

member of the House of Representatives says the recent uptick in news regarding what many would call unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, something The War Zone has been a leading investigative source of, could reflect emerging threats to U.S. national airspace and homeland security, rather than simply military and intelligence concerns. Mark Walker, a Republican from North Carolina, has now written an open letter to Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer asking for more details about what that service is doing to record and assess sightings of what are increasingly referred to as unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAP.Walker, who is a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and the ranking Republican on its Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism, wrote the letter to Spencer on July 16, 2019. He subsequently made it public on his website on July 29, 2019, three days after he went on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to voice his concerns.

"The reports mention the existence of these encounters both domestically and abroad during various [U.S. military] missions and trainings," Walker wrote in his letter. "Additionally, there have been reports of significant investments in advanced aerospace technologies like the recorded UAP encounters by China."

"If the accounts are true, the unidentified crafts could pose a serious security risk to our military personnel and defense apparatus," he continued. "As a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Ranking Member for the Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism, these reports are concerning from a national airspace and domestic security perspective."

‘Wow, what is that?’ Navy pilots report unexplained flying objects

MSM.com

WASHINGTON — The strange objects, one of them like a spinning top moving against the wind, appeared almost daily from the summer of 2014 to March 2015, high in the skies over the East coast.

Navy pilots reported to their superiors that the objects had no visible engine or infrared exhaust
plumes but that they could reach 30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds.

“These things would be out there all day,” said Lieutenant Ryan Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who has been with the Navy for 10 years and who reported his sightings to the Pentagon and Congress. “Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot had a near collision with one of the objects, and an official mishap report was filed. Some of the incidents were captured on video, including one taken by a plane’s camera in early 2015 that shows an object zooming over the ocean waves as pilots question what they are watching.

“Wow, what is that, man?” one exclaims. “Look at it fly!”

Ibteesam Reaz, Staff Physicist at Lockheed Martin on U.S. Navy TicTac UFO Incidents

Cryptogon

So, these advanced crafts do exist— there is no question about it.

Via: Quora:

Ibteesam Reaz, Staff Physicist at Lockheed Martin

Don’t be naive and think the three USS Nimitz/Go Fast/Gimbal events are the only ones on the “official” books. Luis Elizondo, director of the governmental AATIP, has claimed there were “hundreds” of other incidents in the recent past which are not cleared for public release. But we needn’t care— there are thousands of governmental records (as disclosed via the Freedom of Information act) describing these craft with insane maneuverability as far back as the 40s. So, these advanced crafts do exist— there is no question about it. Here’s what we can say, noting this technology has stayed somewhat stagnant since the days of the “foo fighter” UFOs in WWII:
    • Someone has discovered a propulsion technology which does not rely on jets of gas or emission of particles, otherwise, we would see contrails. There are no sonic booms as the craft accelerates. This is a hint that the makers are using some esoteric form of propulsion (related to the gravitational field?).
    • Someone has discovered how to make: right-angled turns in all directions at supersonic speeds; almost instantaneous acceleration from rest and similarly almost instantaneous deceleration from supersonic speeds to rest. (I said ALMOST instantaneous— it may well APPEAR instantaneous due to an altered metric tensor. Thus, the apparent time taken for a maneuver would not be the same for the occupants of the aircraft.)
    • Thus, someone has discovered how to mitigate g-forces to a very large extent. A highly trained pilot can withstand about 10g’s. But craft described by the military regularly force their internal contents (note: occupants, if there are any) to experience hundreds of g’s. The USS Nimitz UFO dropped from 28 000 feet to 50 feet in 0.78 seconds … That is, for reference, 10 900 m/s. The craft’s other “buddies” (similarly sized capsules) previously had dropped from 80 000 feet to 20 000 feet in a few seconds.
    • At the same time, these crafts regularly “glow” in different colors. Red and green “firey” balls were infamously known as “foo fighters” in WWII, following Allies and Axis fighter craft in the night. Thus, the plasma field over their craft is a hint that indeed there is a lot of energy being produced by the craft since the particles are highly excited.

“Research”: The U.S. Navy Wants To Archive 350 Billion Social Media Posts

Marc Slavo
SHTFplan

The United States Navy wants to archive 350 billion social media posts in order to conduct “research.” What exactly does the military want to study? “Modes of collective expression.”

The Department of the Navy has posted a solicitation asking contractors to bid on a project that would amass a staggering 350 billion social media posts dating from 2014 through 2016. The data will be taken from a single social media platform – but the solicitation does not specify which one. -RT
“We seek to acquire a large-scale global historical archive of social media data, providing the full text of all public social media posts, across all countries and languages covered by the social media platform,” the contract synopsis reads. The Navy said that the archive would be used in “ongoing research efforts” into “the evolution of linguistic communities” and “emerging modes of collective expression, over time and across countries.”

This is simply spying and the research will be used for propaganda purposes, which is blatantly obvious at this point. The intentions are far from benign.

The archive will draw from publicly available social media posts and “no private communications or private user data” will be included in the database. However, all records must include the time and date at which each message was sent and the public user handle associated with the message. Additionally, each record in the archive must include all publicly available meta-data, including country, language, hashtags, location, handle, timestamp, and URLs, that were associated with the original posting. -RT
So basically, most of your information is going to be stored by the U.S. military. The data must be collected from at least 200 million unique users in at least 100 countries, with no single country accounting for more than 30 percent of users, according to the contract.

The U.S. government has previously expressed interest in collecting social media data for more tracking and spying on Americans. Last year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a notice asking contractors to bid on a database that tracks 290,000 global news sources in over 100 languages. The contract also mentioned the ability to keep tabs on“influencers,” leading some reports to speculate that the proposed database could be used to monitor journalists.

There is no way anyone could say we live in the land of the free anymore. It’s delusional to think we have any power at all. Freedom of speech is almost gone, gun rights are on the chopping block, and journalists will soon be punished by the military for not toeing the line and reporting on the official narrative (some have already been.)  Censorship and manipulation are completely out of control.  We are rapidly heading toward the dystopian nightmare George Orwell warned about.

Is America Ready for John Bolton’s War with Iran?

Scott Ritter
Global Research

Recently dispatched B-52s and ships are an act of theatrical bravado that ignore the real threat.

National Security Advisor John Bolton’s announcement this week that the U.S. is deploying a carrier strike group and a bomber task force to the U.S. Central Command region seemed perfectly framed to put America on a war footing with Iran. And it is.

Claiming that the decision was made in response to “a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings,” Bolton declared that “the United States is not seeking war with the Iranian regime.” But, he added, “we are fully prepared to respond to any attack, whether by proxy, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or regular Iranian forces.”

It took the Defense Department a full day to respond to Bolton’s statement, with acting Secretary of Defense Pat Shanahan finally tweeting that the
“announced deployment of the @CVN_72 and a @USAirForce bomber task force to the @CENTCOM area of responsibility…represents a prudent repositioning of assets in response to indications of a credible threat by Iranian regime forces.”
Shanahan followed with another tweet:
“We call on the Iranian regime to cease all provocation. We will hold the Iranian regime accountable for any attack on US forces or our interests.”
The USS Abraham Lincoln battle group had deployed a month ago from its Norfolk, Virginia, home port and was recently engaged in maneuvers in the Mediterranean Sea. The Pentagon acknowledged that the Abraham Lincoln was scheduled to support CENTCOM during its deployment, but that its arrival was being “accelerated” due to intelligence indicating an imminent Iranian threat.

The fact that Bolton chose to repurpose routine deployments of U.S. military forces into the Middle East as an emergency response to an unspecified threat from Iran is in and of itself a curiosity. Bolton is an advisor to the president, a non-statutory (i.e., not confirmed by the Senate) member of the White House staff who is not in the military chain of command and lacks any command authority.

Richard Dolan Interviews Gary McKinnon: UFO "Hacker"

Richard Dolan

GARY McKINNON'S FIRST INTERVIEW IN YEARS. UK citizen Gary McKinnon is the most famous UFO "hacker" of all time. Arrested in 2002, he was in danger of extradition to the US for ten years. What he found was apparent evidence of a secret space program, including references to "non-terrestrial officers" and ship to ship transfers of vessels not in the U.S. military inventory.

Moreover, a high-resolution photograph, taken from space, of a smooth, cigar-shaped craft. Gary also talks about the repercussions of being sought by the U.S. government, his depression, suicidal thoughts, and more. Richard Dolan is one of the world’s leading researchers and writers on the subject of UFOs and believes that they constitute the greatest mystery of our time. He is the author of two volumes of history, UFOs and the National Security State, both ground-breaking works which together provide the most factually complete and accessible narrative of the UFO subject available anywhere. He also co-authored a speculative book about the future, A.D. After Disclosure, the first-ever analysis not only of how UFO secrecy might end, but of the all-important question: what happens next?

What The Hell Is Going On With UFOs And The Department Of Defense?

Tyler Rogaway
The Drive

Few stories have garnered more requests from our readers for commentary than the recent news that the Navy has decided to very publicly change its reporting rules and procedures for when its personnel observes an unexplained phenomenon like a UFO and a USO.

There have been wildly varying takes on this sudden change, but the truth is that it is very hard to know what to make of it considering how absurd it sounds-the Navy now wants to know about unidentified craft that can penetrate airspace over its installations and around its most capable naval vessels with impunity? Shouldn't that be a default position for a service tasked with defending American interests and controlling vast swathes of area above, below, and on the surface of the Earth?

Politico was first to report on the Navy's new directions for reporting unexplained objects operating in the same environment as its vessels and aircraft. Politico's Bryan Bender writes:
"There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years," the Navy said in a statement in response to questions from POLITICO. "For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [U.S. Air Force] takes these reports very seriously and investigates each and every report."

"As part of this effort," it added, "the Navy is updating and formalizing the process by which reports of any such suspected incursions can be made to the cognizant authorities. A new message to the fleet that will detail the steps for reporting is in draft."

To be clear, the Navy isn't endorsing the idea that its sailors have encountered alien spacecraft. But it is acknowledging there have been enough strange aerial sightings by credible and highly trained military personnel that they need to be recorded in the official record and studied - rather than dismissed as some kooky phenomena from the realm of science-fiction.
The Washington Post did their own follow-up to Politico's story, stating:
Recently, unidentified aircraft have entered military-designated airspace as often as multiple times per month, Joseph Gradisher, spokesman for office of the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare, told The Washington Post on Wednesday.

Citing safety and security concerns, Gradisher vowed to "investigate each and every report."

He said, "We want to get to the bottom of this. We need to determine who's doing it, where it's coming from and what their intent is. We need to try to find ways to prevent it from happening again."
In recent years, from what we can tell, in part by the reporting done by The War Zone itself, is that there is no real way to distinctly classify something like a UFO or USO in such a way that it gets reported and an investigation occurs on an official level within the military. This appears to be true for civilian government institutions, like the FAA, as well.

The lack of a structured procedure and classification system, and the nebulous fear of being stigmatized by reporting things like UFOs-something that has long plagued the military and private sectors alike-has repressed the conveyance of information in unquantifiable, but hugely significant ways.

This reality has led to much speculation, and rightfully so, that the military knows far more about these strange happenings than they are willing to let on, at least on the surface. Otherwise, why wouldn't they want to know more about intruders wielding fantastic technology that makes them impervious to existing countermeasures and defenses?

Now all this appears to be changing on a grand level, but why?

The US Navy is Setting Up New Guidelines for UFO Reports: ‘Disclosure’ or More of the Same?

Daily Grail

Last night Politico released an article penned by Bryan Bender, which seemed to echo the mainstream repercussions with regards to a broader acceptance of the UFO phenomenon than the 2017 bombshells published by that same online news outlet, as well as the New York Times.

The news broke by Bender was that the United States Navy is currently updating their reporting protocols for pilots or other enlisted personnel who observe “unidentified aircraft,” in an effort to “creating a formal process to collect and analyze the unexplained sightings — and destigmatize them.”

This seemingly unprecedented move was evidently triggered by the recent public interest surrounding military UFO encounters like the ones between F-18 pilots and a group of white objects nicknamed “the Tic-Tacs” during a Navy exercise with the USS Nimitz in 2004. An interest that, according to Politico’s article, has also transcended into the power corridors of Washington and Congress, where unnamed lawmakers have been “briefed by senior Naval Intelligence officials as well as aviators” who have been involved in such encounters.
“There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated airspace in recent years,” the Navy said in a statement in response to questions from POLITICO. “For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [U.S. Air Force] takes these reports very seriously and investigates each and every report.
“As part of this effort,” it added, “the Navy is updating and formalizing the process by which reports of any such suspected incursions can be made to the cognizant authorities. A new message to the fleet that will detail the steps for reporting is in draft.”

Iran Warns False Flag "Accident" Could "Lure" Trump Into War

Zero Hedge

Following US declarations that Washington and its allies intend to take Iranian crude exports down to "zero" by cancelling waivers previously granted to eight nations, tensions are now soaring over the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) attempting to lay down the law amid fears the US Navy could move to block Iran's access, given the IRGC's new terror designation.

On Wednesday Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said if the US intends to pass through the Persian Gulf's vital choke point — the waterway's narrowest strait routinely patrolled by Iran's military — "it must dialogue with those who defend it". Sharif's words were essentially a provocative declaration that the US military must ask Tehran's "permission" to enter the strait. However, he elsewhere explained that he doesn't believe that President Trump wants war with Iran, but that he could be "lured into one" by his more hawkish advisers.

Iran's foreign minister on Wednesday warned the United States of unspecified "consequences" if it tried to seal off to Tehran the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic passage into the oil-rich Gulf. — Channel News Asia

The Baton Rouge Gunman and “Targeted Individuals”: US Naval Academy Graduate Educates Americans on Non-Consensual Neuro-Experimentation

Comment: This article is a couple of years old but worth digging out for its relevance to the rising awareness of targeted individuals and its relationship to false flag events.

Ramola D
The Everyday Concerned Citizen

Whistleblower David Voigts, former Naval Officer and systems engineer with a background in Surface Warfare, Electronic Warfare, and Nuclear Engineering, who has been walking cross-country for “Targeted Individuals” since mid-spring this year, spoke out recently, both in a Wheel of Freedom interview, and on Facebook (covered here)  to condemn the hidden Military/Intelligence programs of non-consensual neuro-experimentation currently underway in the United States of America and worldwide, which he suspects has been operative in the case of the Baton Rouge shooter, Gavin Long.

In a Facebook post on July 18, David Voigts, who is currently in Seymour, Indiana, wrote:

“This is why I’m walking across the country with a huge sign on my back. The US has developed a human-machine interface weapon that spoofs the nervous system. It is being misused to torture American citizens. This shooting in Baton Rouge is one of the outcomes.”

Gavin Long, who adopted the name Cosmo Setepenra, and wrote books on self-improvement, was the young 29-year-old ex-Marine and Iraq war veteran reportedly killed by police in Baton Rouge after he reportedly shot at six police officers, killing three and wounding the others, following the recent reported deaths of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile at the hands of police.

News reports on investigations into his background as well as recordings of talk show interviews reveal that he had mentioned being targeted and was a member of Freedom from Covert Harassment and Surveillance, a group advocating for those being covertly targeted, assaulted, non-consensually experimented on, and hyper-surveilled in a variety of ways in their communities, including with experimental military directed-energy weapons, biometric and physical surveillance devices, synthetic telepathy, and remote bio-hacking neuroweapons.

Yemen and The Militarization of Strategic Waterways

Prof. Michel Chossoudosvky
Global Research

This article was first published by GR in February 2010, five years prior to outbreak of the US-Saudi war on Yemen.

The article sheds light on America’s unspoken military agenda: the control over strategic waterways

“Whoever attains maritime supremacy in the Indian Ocean would be a prominent player on the international scene.” (US Navy Geostrategist Rear Admiral Alfred Thayus Mahan (1840-1914).

The Yemeni archipelago of Socotra in the Indian Ocean is located some 80 kilometres off the Horn of Africa and 380 kilometres South of the Yemeni coastline. The islands of Socotra are a wildlife reserve recognized by (UNESCO), as a World Natural Heritage Site.

Socotra is at the crossroads of the strategic naval waterways of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden (See map below). It is of crucial importance to the US military.

For The First Time Since The Iraq War, US Launches Airstrikes From The Mediterranean

Zero Hedge

The US aircraft carrier CVN-65, the USS Harry Truman, has begun striking at various Islamic State targets from the Mediterranean Sea on Friday. This is the first time a carrier group has launched airstrikes from the area since the 2003 invasion in Iraq. According to a statement by the US Naval Forces Europe-Africa, fighter jets conducted combat sorties from the aircraft carrier in support of Operation Inherent Resolve on Friday after transiting the Suez Canal the day before.

“While the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is in the 6th Fleet area of operations, they continue to project power ashore against terrorists and violent extremists,” Vice Admiral James Foggo III, commander of US 6th Fleet, said in a statement. “This exemplifies our Navy’s mobility, flexibility and adaptability, as well as our commitment to execute a full range of military operations in concert with our indispensable European allies and partners.”

As the most recent naval deployment map shows, as of June 2, the Truman strike group was located in the Persian Gulf...

"Accidental" Giant Navy Swastika Building Was No Accident

Remember...?

Daily Kos
September 28th 2007

"We knew what it [the building complex] was going to look like"
 - Architect John Mock

The story of the US Navy's giant swastika-shaped barracks, built in the late 1960's and located at the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, just South of San Diego, has been all over the news. Rightly so - it's the biggest government subsidized swastika display on Earth.

Below is a YouTube presentation - a simple silent slide show of clips taken of views, through Google Earth, that zoom in, from space, on the giant NAB swastika complex.

The US media has now deigned to make this story into a major media spectacle. But, media depictions you may have heard in the last 24 hours, on the origin of the giant swastika-barracks which houses Navy SEALS, will probably all amount to evasion, distortions, or even lies.

Here's the media whitewash:

After Google Earth made the Navy's giant government-subsidized swastika building complex, located at the Coronado Naval Amphibious Base near San Diego, visible to anyone on Earth, the resultant publicity, outcry, and mounting political pressure has led the US Navy to budget $600,000 to change the swastika shape of the barracks: to unmake the swastika, which according to the US Navy was the result of an embarrassing planning oversight.

CNN below, repeats the United States Navy's claim that the NAB Swastika complex was accidental. But, that claim has been disproved, as detailed further in this post, by researcher Avrahaum Segol.

Here's CNN's story:

Deployment Extension of US Warships in Black Sea Exceeds International Terms – Lavrov
MOSCOW: Moscow has taken note that the extension of US warships deployed in the Black Sea has exceeded the set terms laid out in the international convention, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a joint press conference with Kazakhstan’s foreign minister on Thursday in Moscow.

“There exists the Montreux Convention, which gives extremely clear criteria limiting the deployment of warships not belonging to the Black Sea governments in regard to tonnage and length of stay,” Lavrov said.

“We have noticed that US warships have extended their deployment beyond the set terms a couple of times lately, and at times they did not always comply with the regulations that are set within the Montreux Convention.”

U.S. naval ships overstayed Montreux Convention limits in Black Sea – Russian foreign minister
MOSCOW: Russia will keep a close eye on how the United States and Turkey follow the principles of the Montreux Convention Regarding the Regime of the Straits, which set the rules for warships’ presence in the Black Sea, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“We have the Montreux Convention, which introduces absolutely clear-cut criteria that restrict the presence of naval vessels of foreign states that are not located in the Black Sea region in terms of tonnage and periods of presence. We have paid attention to the fact that recently American naval ships have twice prolonged their presence there beyond the set timeframe,” he said at a press conference in Moscow on Thursday.

“Furthermore, they have not always managed to obey the rules that exist as part of the Montreux Convention. We have also drawn the attention of the American side and Turkey, where these straits are located, to this fact. Our position is that all of the principles of the Convention should be rigorously obeyed. We will monitor this,” he said.

US Sailors, Assisting With Fukushima Clean Up, Crippled By Cancer

Zero Hedge

Back in December 2012, we wrote that it was only a matter of time before Japan's criminal lying about the radioactive exposure in the aftermath of the Fukushima catastrophe caught up with it, as well as with countless numbers of people who would soon succumb to radiation induced cancers and other diseases. What we found surprising back then, before the full scale of the Fukushima catastrophe become clear and before even Tepco admitted that the situation is completely out of control, is that those holding Japan accountable were not its own citizens but eight US sailors who have then filed a suit against semi-nationalized energy operator TEPCO - the company which repeatedly ignored internal warnings about the ability of the Fukushima NPP to withstand an earthquake/tsunami -  seeking $110 million in damages.

Kyodo reported:
"Eight U.S. sailors have filed a damages suit against Tokyo Electric Power Co., claiming they were exposed to radiation and face health threats as the utility did not provide appropriate information about the Fukushima nuclear disaster while they engaged in rescue operations on board an aircraft carrier, U.S. media reported.
The plaintiffs who filed the suit at the U.S. federal court in San Diego -- seeking a total of $110 million, or 9.4 billion yen, in damages -- were aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan when it was involved in "Operation Tomodachi," a disaster relief effort shortly after a big earthquake and tsunami triggered the worst nuclear accident in decades, the reports said."
What is sad is that while everyone in the alternative media was repeatedly warning about the radiation exposure being misrepresented by both TEPCO and various Japanese ministries, it was the mainstream media that was constantly complicit in disseminating official and unofficial lies that there is nothing to fear.

One year after our report, the lies are not only catching up (and overtaking), but are ruining and dooming innocent lives. As Fox reports, dozens of US soldiers who participated in the Fukushima cleanup effort, are succumbing to numerous radiation-related illnesses, including cancer, and their only error was believing the official media lies.
From Fox:
When the USS Ronald Reagan responded to the tsunami that struck Japan in March 2011, Navy sailors including Quartermaster Maurice Enis gladly pitched in with rescue efforts.
But months later, while still serving aboard the aircraft carrier, he began to notice strange lumps all over his body. Testing revealed he'd been poisoned with radiation, and his illness would get worse. And his fiance and fellow Reagan quartermaster, Jamie Plym, who also spent several months helping near the Fukushima nuclear power plant, also began to develop frightening symptoms, including chronic bronchitis and hemorrhaging.
They and 49 other U.S. Navy members who served aboard the Reagan and sister ship the USS Essex now trace illnesses including thyroid and testicular cancers, leukemia and brain tumors to the time spent aboard the massive ship, whose desalination system pulled in seawater that was used for drinking, cooking and bathing. In a lawsuit filed against Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), the plaintiffs claim the power company delayed telling the U.S. Navy the tsunami had caused a nuclear meltdown, sending huge amounts of contaminated water into the sea and, ultimately, into the ship's water system.
“At our level, we weren’t told anything,” Plym told FoxNews.com. “We were told everything was OK.” Now, Plym, Enis and dozens of others wonder if their service to their country and to Japan has left them doomed.
“I get so angry," Plym said. "They said as long as the plume was avoided we would be fine. But we knew then that something was going to happen. Common sense tells you that the wind would blow it everywhere. You don’t need to be a nuclear scientist to figure that out.”
Why the anger though: after all everyone lied, starting with those in control, and certainly the media that supports the status quo (one must think of all those advertising dollars) constantly and repeatedly that it is simply preposterous to assume that a benevolent regime which only cares about the wealth effect (of both the US and Japan) would engage in such a vast conspiracy as to hide from the world just how destructive the fallour from Fukushima truly was (even as the fringe blogosphere was warning precisely about this day in, and day out).
But while the lies are easily explainable, what is more surprising is that the soldiers are blaming just Tepco instead of everyone in their chain of command for putting them in the line of gamma radiation fire.
San Francisco Attorney Charles Bonner, who is representing allegedly cancer-stricken sailors, initially filed a federal suit in the Southern District of California more than a year ago on behalf of a dozen sailors. The lawsuit was initially dismissed, when the court ruled that any ruling would hinge on interpreting communication between the Japanese and U.S. governments, which could violate the separation of powers. But Bonner is amending the suit to add new allegations that would fall under the court's jurisdiction. And the number of plaintives has more than quadrupled as more service members come forward with radiation-related illnesses, he said.
“They went in to help with rescue efforts," said Bonner, who plans to refile the suit on Jan. 6. "They did not go in prepared to deal with radiation containment.”
The plaintiffs don't blame the U.S. Navy, which they believe acted in good faith, Bonner said. It was the plant's operators who sat on the meltdown information during the crucial hours following the March 11, 2011 disaster, he said.
“TEPCO pursued a policy which caused rescuers, including the plaintiffs, to rush into an unsafe area which was too close to the [Fukushima nuclear power plant] that had been damaged,” Bonner charged in an April filing now being updated to add more plaintiffs. “Relying upon the misrepresentation regarding health and safety made by TEPCO, upon information and belief, the U.S. Navy was lulled into a false sense of security.
“The officers and crew of the U.S.S. Reagan (CVN-76) and other vessels believed that it was safe to operate within the waters adjacent to the FNPP, without doing the kinds of research and testing that would have verified the problems known to the defendant TEPCO at the time.”
Nathan Piekutoski, 22, who served aboard the USS Essex, which was in the same deployment as the Reagan, said sailors had no choice but to trust what they were told.
“They did say it was safe at the time,” Piekutoski said. “We had to take their word for it.”
Piekutowski says he suffered from leukemia and, while he is currently in remission, Doctors have told him that he may need a bone marrow transplant.
“Within a few months I started getting all these weird symptoms," he recalled of the months following the disaster response. "Night sweats. Not sleeping. I started losing a lot of weight.
“It’s one of those things," he added. "You’re angry that it happens but we had to go. It was our duty. I joined the military to help people in need.”
A spokesperson for the Department of Defense declined to comment on the pending lawsuit, but told FoxNews.com the Pentagon has been monitoring and collecting data on radiation exposure in the region.
Needless to say, the criminals at Tepco have nothing to say:
TEPCO officials did not respond to requests for comment. But a recent admission before members of the Japanese press on Dec. 12 during a meeting at the Tokyo Press Club, former Prime Minister Naoto Jan said the first meltdown occurred five hours after the tsunami, not the next day as reported at the time.
Bonner alleges that the statement means that the Japanese government knew radiation was being leaked and did not inform the U.S. Navy.
“They knew there was an active meltdown and they deliberately hid it from the public as well as the Navy,” Bonner said. “Those sailors went in there totally unaware and they were contaminated as a result.”
Plym says she is prepared to have her symptoms question in court, should the case go to trial. But with so many U.S. sailors coming forward, she believes justice will prevail.
“People will say that out lawsuit is fake and that we are doing this for money, but it’s really about getting the correct information out there,” Plym said.
And now back to a mythical reality in which insolvent governments tell the "truth" about the true, and very deplorable, state of affairs just behind the peeing facade. In the meantime, to all the sailors whose only crime was believing their criminal, corrupt superiors: our condolences.

Conmen and CoIntelpro Part IV

Knights in White Satin

“The brotherhood's strong Catholic roots made the modern knights fervently anti-communist. The order has been largely responsible for the construction of the CIA, and many of its global covert operations.  The founding fathers of the CIA William "Wild Bill" Donovan and Allen Dulles were knights, as were most other heads of the CIA including Ronald Reagan's director William Casey.  Casey gave Pope John Paul II unprecedented access to CIA intelligence including spy satellites and agents.”

In January 2005, things were to come to a head for Christine Dolan by making the mistake of claiming associations with other genuine organizations who had made no such formal agreements.  When plaintiffs contacted International Justice Mission (IJM) a charity based in Washington, DC. They disclaimed any relationship with Dolan and all contact information for the Global Coalition to End Human Trafficking NOW was removed from the website. The tsunami charity push remained however.

Most interesting of all was a connection with the supportive presence of Knightsbridge Inc., which according to its website was: “Founded in August 1995 by several members of a self-styled US Priory of the Knights of Malta and OSMTH TEMPLAR Knights for the specific purpose of providing an independent vehicle through which focused international and domestic humanitarian assistance and medical relief programs could be organized.”1 Plaintiffs asked for clarification regarding the relationship between the organizations with no response forthcoming.

Some of the articles and descriptions of Sir Edward Artis Chairman of Knightsbridge International describe his exploits in almost saintly terms including what he terms his penchant for “high Adventure.” Clearly, he enjoys the attention and limelight his chivalrous exploits provide and to which, it seems, he is at pains to cultivate.

“This modern-day knight has no house but an airplane seat, no shield but his bravado, no sword but his spirit” says one broadcaster or according to another journalist breathlessly singing Artis’s praises, he is: “…a modern-day knight. His valiant steed is an airplane or truck, his armour a bullet-proof vest and his sword a cellular telephone. The hospital, the orphanage and the refugee camp are his field of battle.” Still more gushings exhort him to mythical status: “He's a knighted West Hills philanthropist who has brought antibiotics to Sri Lanka, delivered nets to fishermen, helped plan a Westlake Village church's house-building mission, and told stories the whole time.” 2  The latter end of this quote is particularly true.

In almost every op-ed photo you will find Artis with a stethoscope to the fore, pressed earnestly against a refugee or natural disaster victim. Although Sir - or Dr. Artis - certainly puts some of his money where his mouth is and travels incessantly to oversee his worthy projects there might be a problem with his fundraising and stethoscope roles.

He is the recipient of the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and numerous other US Military medals for Valour, Bravery, and Courage under fire in Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. As well as a medic in Vietnam in 1972 he claims to have been a Green Beret, a Navy SEAL, and an Airborne Paratrooper. Some have claimed that these were faked pointing to the federal felony law under USC Section 18 of the United States Code, and a felony to solicit donations for his aid organization wearing fake regalia. The PhD was legitimately bought online for $3,500 whereas the Knighthood is fake, as is the Vatican passport. One wonders why such a man so decorated would consider the latter as worthy of Chivalric principles.

We begin to get the idea that Artis either has delusions of grandeur or that he is using cover for something quite different. In response to further media outpourings of Artis walking on water the following report appeared in November 2004:
Without in any way denigrating whatever laudable humanitarian works it has undertaken, we only wish to place on record that Knightsbridge International and its chair have no official connection now or ever with the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and of Malta, more popularly known for more than 400 years as the Sovereign Order of Malta, whose headquarters or Grand Magistry is in Rome.

LEOCADIO DE ASIS, president, Grand Cross of Magistral Grace, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Pius XII Catholic Center, United Nations Avenue, Manila. 3
In the US there has been indiscriminate use and abuse of the term: “Order of Knighthood.” Awards and decorations for valour and meritorious service are one thing, but there is no legal provision for orders of knighthood. Chivalric bodies like the Knights of Malta or the orders of St. John are treated as private associations and registered with the state in which the headquarters reside. It comes as no surprise, that in Artis’s case, a quick hop across to the Russian Knights of Malta priory in 1993 to obtain a Knighthood was a done deal.

The Knights of Malta are chock full of the neo-conservative Catholic Elite with historical and modern day associations with Opus Dei which in turn have considerable links to neo-con agendas and the establishment of a ‘New Evangelization.’4 Malta knighthoods are awarded to a great deal of high flyers that are part of the military and intelligence community. For instance, the late CIA director William Casey was a Knight of Malta. Former NATO General and US Secretary of State Alexander Haig and former Deputy Director of the CIA General Vernon Walters were Malta Knights. Reinhard Gehlen, the former Nazi intelligence expert and Psyops guru, remains the most colourful if not the most ironic Knight of Malta. In summary, TKM are a occult-fascist organisation, a Jesuit military order of the Catholic Church and therefore with an allegiance to Roman Catholic, papal influence. Although this is a global affair, a particular interest lies in both Latin America and Africa with historic affiliations to freemasonry arising from ex-Nazis and P2 lodge fascists. Its bias is toward a distinctly European elite with strong ties to the unaccountable Bilderberg group.

With a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable institution such status ignores whether or not a body is an authentic chivalrous order thus creating a false persona is easy, yet hardly fits into the criteria of true chivalric principles. The need for thrills and romanticism tends to endanger lives. According to Artis: “By example, act and deed each of us can make a difference.” Indeed. It starts from the basic precept of being transparent and truthful concerning our professed qualifications and experience which Artis seems at the very least, to have embellished. Questions also need to be asked about Artis and his Knightsbridge International and the solicitation of funds based on fraudulent credentials. His involvement with the Jack Idemas case is another indication Artis is not who he says he is.

Artis met Idema in Afghanistan in late 2001 and later tried to warn the government and media organizations that Idema was up to some serious naughtiness. Artis having been cultivated by the neo-con Knights of Malta crew as the whiter than white Catholic crusader was directed to shop Idema and to put him out of action as a loose cannon, which he was  in one sense, but it was not to the fact that he was failing in his duties as a counter-terrorism operative in Iraq, but because he very likely tracked CIA assets that the US government wanted to keep in place to continue the “insurgent attacks.” That Osama was likely dead and much of the smokescreen of neo-con operations would be discovered by one of their own, could not be allowed to happen. 5  Artis, as Catholic Knight with a much vaunted mission, may have been served up to place Idema in a suitably bad light in order to deflect attention away from the US covert role. A nest of religious and political vipers could well be steering more than one of its brood around several strategies at once. Meanwhile, Idema remains conveniently out of sight in an Afghan jail.
