Abby Johnson was a clinic manager at a Planned Parenthood clinic for 8 years. In the interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson below, she discusses what her responsibilities were:

Abby: I took care of just the day-to-day operations, hiring and firing personnel, making sure that our budgets were maintained, including our abortion quota that we had to maintain every month, so that was my job.

Tucker: You mean you had to perform a certain number of abortions every month?

Abby: That’s right. So, every abortion facility within Planned Parenthood has a monthly abortion quota that they must meet.

Tucker: Why?

Abby: That’s how they make their money. About 50% of their income is just cash from abortion services. And so, in order to keep their clinics open, they have to sell so many abortions.

Tucker: But what about all the mammograms and the life-saving work they do?

Abby: Yeah, you know, funny about mammograms, there is not a Planned Parenthood in the country that provides mammogram services, they don’t provide pre-natal care, they don’t do a lot of the things that they say that they do.

Let’s think about that for a minute. If any company’s business model involves a quota, that means that they will favor a person ‘buying’ what they are selling over not ‘buying’ it. This is understandable in many cases. But in the case of Planned Parenthood, which assumes a position of high moral authority in the field of reproductive health and supposedly is the supreme defender of a woman’s ‘right to choose,’ there is a clear conflict of interest.

Owners of Company That Bought Aborted Baby Parts From Planned Parenthood are Arrested

Two wealthy Ecuadorian brothers who were principals in DaVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics, the California companies fined and ordered to shut down for illegally trafficking world-wide in aborted baby parts it obtained from Planned Parenthood, were arrested by ICE on February 13, 2019. 

According to Law.com:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Roberto and William Isaías on Feb. 13. ICE representative Nestor Yglesias said the brothers were “unlawfully present” in the U.S., and have been “transferred to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations” for deportation proceedings following their arrest. Yglesias added the pair is “in agency custody pending removal proceedings.”

The arrest of Roberto and William Isaias was gratifying to Operation Rescue, which published an investigative research report on October 27, 2016 – just days before the Presidential Election that put Donald J. Trump in office – that detailed their crimes in Ecuador, dubious dealings with the Obama administration, their business with Planned Parenthood and the aborted baby body parts trade.

“We understood that this family was in the U.S. under suspicious circumstances, and that they had committed crimes in Ecuador and Southern California,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.  “We had hoped that one day they would return to Ecuador so that justice could be done, but their arrests still took us by surprise.”

In 2012, Roberto and William Isaias were sentenced in abstentia to eight years in prison for running their Ecuadorian bank into the ground then presenting false balance sheets to profit from bailout funds, wiping out the life savings of thousands of families.  Ecuador says the Isaias family cost the impoverished country a total of $661.5 million.

This is both a physical and spiritual battle – armor up. They just legalized allowing a new born baby to suffer and die outside of the womb, if they did not succeed with the abortion procedure. This is murder in the worst degree.

As mind-altering as this bill is, Virginia, Vermont and Rhode Island are a few of many states that are quickly pushing to pass similar laws, while the battle with pro-lifers continues. 56 Lawmakers Ask HHS Probe of Planned Parenthood’s Response to Child Sexual Abuse

A group of 56 lawmakers led by Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Mo., is urging federal officials to investigate the extent to which Planned Parenthood fails to report suspected sexual abuse of minors.

In a letter Thursday to the Department of Health and Human Services, Hartzler and 55 other Republicans ask the agency to probe whether Planned Parenthood, as a recipient of federal Title X funds, “failed in its duty to report suspected child abuse to local authorities and to HHS.”

Hartzler and other signers announced the formal request of an investigation in a press conference Thursday morning at the Capitol.

Their letter to HHS Secretary Alex Azar comes less than a week after the pro-life group Live Action released a report alleging Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, covered up evidence of child sexual abuse.

Among the signers are two senators—Joni Ernst of Iowa and James Lankford of Oklahoma. Besides Hartzler, the 53 members of the House requesting the probe include Chris Smith of New Jersey, Mark Walker of North Carolina, and Diane Black of Tennessee.

The Daily Signal previously reported that the Live Action study, “Aiding Abusers: Planned Parenthood’s Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse,” alleges that Planned Parenthood has been caught on multiple occasions providing abortions to victims of sexual abuse as young as 12 and 13, failing to report suspected sexual abuse to authorities, and sending victims back to their abusers.

Condom use, anal sex, and a glossary from Planned Parenthood that contains terms like BDSM and necrophilia are just some of the things the Sunnyside Unified District in Tucson, Ariz., thinks are appropriate for children to learn about, starting as young as 11.

A press release from Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit that defends traditional values in court, details the shocking curriculum designed by Advocates for Youth, a partner of Planned Parenthood.

Unsurprisingly, Advocates for Youth heavily promotes abortion, and has the following stance on the issue: “Young women need the right to safe and legal abortion … United States policies contribute to an anti-choice climate and limit young women’s access to abortion. No young woman, anywhere, should be forced to seek out an illegal, dangerous procedure or carry a pregnancy she didn’t want to term.”

One of the goals of the curriculum, at least for 12^thgraders, is to teach proper condom use – including for anal sex.

Liberty Counsel notes there has never been a condom approved for use by the FDA for this dangerous sexual activity.

According to its press release, material from the curriculum mentions or refers students to Planned Parenthood no less than 24 times.

Orwellian Bill Criminalizing Reporting of Undercover Video Sets Off Battle for Free Speech

The controversy last year over secretly recorded video taken of Planned Parenthood employees has turned into a bigger controversy over the First Amendment rights of journalists.

After losing the attempt to bring federal charges against the anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood and certain state lawmakers are going for the nuclear option known as Assembly Bill 1671.

Courthouse News reports:

“The bill would criminalize publishing undercover video footage of “health care providers” and subject third parties, including journalists, to penalties for reporting and distributing the illegally recorded footage.
Under AB 1671, a journalist receiving and posting footage from an anonymous source could be punished by the state as well as be opened up to potential civil lawsuits. Whistleblowers would not be exempt from the proposal either, regardless of how they obtained the illegal footage.
First-time offenders could be fined up to $2,500 while repeat offenders could face up to a year in prison.”

Regardless of one’s stance on abortion, this proposed law is not a solution for anything, and would represent a politically-motivated evisceration of free speech rights. Such a law could and would be used to silence investigative journalism on many fronts beyond the issue of abortion.

Ninth Planned Parenthood Video: Live Baby ‘Just Fell Out,’ Parts Sold for Profit

On the video StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer describes starting her private for-profit company after working as a procurement specialist for non-profit Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR). She says ABR used to collect specimens for free until she started StemExpress and began offering payments for collection.

That seems to have changed profoundly because Dyer now charges that ABR pays an “advisor fee” to abortion clinic board members in order to have exclusive access to aborted fetal baby parts. Moreover, according to documents provided by the Center for Medical Progress, ABR now pays $340 per second trimester specimen.

According to CMP, “ABR is the oldest baby-parts company in the U.S., founded in 1989 by Linda Tracy. For twenty-six years they have partnered with multiple Planned Parenthood affiliates to harvest fetal tissue to sell for experimentation.”

In conversation with an investigator posing as a representative of a start-up procurement company, Dr. Katherine Sheehan, long time medical director of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, is on camera explaining “We have already a relationship with ABR. We’ve been using them for over 10 years, really a long time, just kind of renegotiated the contract.”

In the wake of a sting video exposing a national Planned Parenthood leader discussing how the abortion mill harvests and sells the limbs and organs of aborted babies, the activist media began circling the wagons to protect their progressive pals. Let’s look at a few examples, shall we?
Here is how Eugene Scott at “trusted news leader” CNN described what he called the “purported” video, which TruthRevolt covered here:

The video seemingly shows a member of the conservative Manhattan Institute’s Center for Medical Progress claiming to be a start-up biotech firm attempting to buy human fetal tissue for medical research… Planned Parenthood dismissed the video, calling it highly edited. [Emphasis added]

First, the video isn’t “purported”; it’s an actual video. Second, it doesn’t “seemingly” show anything. It clearlyshows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola casually discussing the targeted mutilation of fetuses in such a manner that limbs and organs are kept intact for later sale. Third, the phrase “highly edited,” of course, implies that the video is a complete distortion of what was actually said. The original video is over 160 minutes long and is available for anyone to watch in its entirety here. It’s clear that nothing in the shorter version was taken out of context in order to mislead viewers.

Laura Bassett at Huffington Post also stressed the “selectively edited” aspect, a tactic by which the leftist media attempt to divert attention from the actual content of the damning video.

Polly Mosendz at Newsweek, which long ago abandoned any shred of journalistic objectivity, leapt to defend Planned Parenthood, spending the first half of her article attempting to discredit the activist group behind the video, the Center for Medical Progress. She then stresses in her headline and article that “the video claims” to show Nucatola discussing Planned Parenthood’s disgusting activity.

On the contrary, Nucatola convicts herself on camera. The video does not “claim” anything; it simply exposes her and Planned Parenthood, and the leftist media’s blatant bias.

Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals

The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found.

Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat.

Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded ‘totally unacceptable.’

At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s Dispatches discovered.

The programme, which will air tonight, found that parents who lose children in early pregnancy were often treated without compassion and were not consulted about what they wanted to happen to the remains.

One of the country’s leading hospitals, Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge, incinerated 797 babies below 13 weeks gestation at their own ‘waste to energy’ plant. The mothers were told the remains had been ‘cremated.’

Another ‘waste to energy’ facility at Ipswich Hospital, operated by a private contractor, incinerated 1,101 foetal remains between 2011 and 2013.

They were brought in from another hospital before being burned, generating energy for the hospital site. Ipswich Hospital itself disposes of remains by cremation.

“This practice is totally unacceptable,” said Dr Poulter.

“While the vast majority of hospitals are acting in the appropriate way, that must be the case for all hospitals and the Human Tissue Authority has now been asked to ensure that it acts on this issue without delay.”

Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director, has written to all NHS trusts to tell them the practice must stop.
The Chief Medical Officer, Dame Sally Davies, has also written to the Human Tissue Authority to ask them make sure that guidance is clear.

And the Care Quality Commission said it would investigate the programme’s findings.
Prof Sir Mike Richards, Chief Inspector of Hospitals, said: “I am disappointed trusts may not be informing or consulting women and their families.

“This breaches our standard on respecting and involving people who use services and I’m keen for Dispatches to share their evidence with us.

“We scrutinise information of concern and can inspect unannounced, if required.”

A total of one in seven pregnancies ends in a miscarriage, while NHS figures show there are around 4,000 stillbirths each year in the UK, or 11 each day.

Ipswich Hospital Trust said it was concerned to discover that foetal remains from another hospital had been incinerated on its site.

A spokeswoman said: “The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust does not incinerate foetal remains.”

She added that the trust “takes great care over foetal remains.”

A spokesman for the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said that trained health professionals discuss the options with parents ‘both verbally and in writing.’

"The parents are given exactly the same choice on the disposal of foetal remains as for a stillborn child and their personal wishes are respected,” they added.

Women are legally free to abort a baby because of its sex, says abortion charity head

The chief executive of Britain's biggest abortion charity has said women are legally free to arrange an abortion because they are unhappy with the sex of their unborn baby.

Ann Furedi, of BPAS, said the law does not prevent women from choosing a termination on the grounds of gender and she even compared it to abortion after rape.

Mrs Furedi's comments come weeks after it was disclosed that the CPS had decided not to prosecute two doctors who were exposed by a Daily Telegraph investigation arranging terminations purely because the unborn baby was a girl.  

A group of 50 MPs, drawn from across the party divide, then wrote to this newspaper warning that the decision was a “step back in the fight for gender equality” and effectively changes the law without proper authority.  

Jeremy Hunt, the Health Secretary, has written to the Attorney General pressing for a full explanation.

However, Mrs Furedi – whose charity carries out more than a quarter of abortions in England and Wales, argued that if doctors believe going ahead with the pregnancy would damage the mental health of the mother, the abortion is within the law

Writing for online magazine Spiked, she said: "A doctor agreeing to an abortion on grounds of rape would be breaking the law no more and no less than a doctor who agrees an abortion on grounds of sex selection," she said.

"While it is true that the sex of the foetus is not a legal ground for abortion, nor is rape, or incest, or being 13 years old. Nor is being homeless, or abandoned, or just feeling there's no way you can bring a child into the world... yet they are all reasons why a doctor may believe a women has met the legal grounds of abortion."

She added: "The woman gives her reasons, the doctor decides on the grounds as set out in the law ... there is no legal requirement to deny a woman an abortion if she has a sex preference, providing that the legal grounds are still met.

"The law is silent on the matter of gender selection, just as it is silent on rape."

Since abortion was legalised in 1967, the majority of terminations have been carried out on the basis that two doctors have agreed a continuation of the pregnancy would risk the mental health of the pregnant woman or her family.

Mrs Furedi questioned whether a woman should be made to have the baby if "her family will disown her and she'll lose her home, her husband whom she loves, and her existing children."
