The Dangers of 5G to Children’s Health

Children's Health Defense

Mobile and wireless technologies are a ubiquitous feature of modern life. Most U.S. adults own smartphones, a growing proportion are “smartphone-only” Internet users and over a fourth report being online “almost constantly.” As for children, a 2014 survey of high-income nations reported that almost seven in ten children used a mobile phone, and two-thirds of those had a smartphone, usually by age 10. As described by Nielsen, it is now as common to see “a kid with a smartphone in their hand” as it was to see “a kid playing with a yo-yo in the years before the digital age.”

The enthusiasm with which the public has embraced each new mobile and wireless technology—most of which have never undergone any appropriate safety testing or standards development—suggests that consumers rarely stop to consider the health implications of the infrastructure shoring up their ability to browse, stream and download anytime and “on the go.” Consumers are not entirely to blame for their lack of awareness—it is not easy to disentangle the technologies’ health risks in the face of the telecommunications industry’s steady and calculated disinformation efforts and a captured Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that “follows the script of fabulously wealthy, bullying, billion-dollar beneficiaries of wireless.”

"… powerful 5G (fifth-generation) networks and technology are about to subject everyone, on a continuous basis, to unprecedented forms and amounts of mandatory irradiation—without prior study of the potential health impact or any assurance of safety."

Now, however, a global 5G “frenzy” is upon us and is coming into full force. The rollout of “blazing fast” 5G technology will “dramatically increase the number of transmitters sending signals to cellphones and a host of new Internet-enabled devices.” The time is ripe for greater grassroots awareness of the undisclosed tradeoffs between convenience and 5G’s potentially catastrophic health effects. Far from a simple “next-gen” upgrade, powerful 5G (fifth-generation) networks and technology are about to subject everyone, on a continuous basis, to unprecedented forms and amounts of what retired U.S. government physicist Dr. Ronald Powell calls “mandatory irradiation”—without “prior study of the potential health impact” or any assurance of safety. Considering that young people (with their smaller body mass and developing brains) are particularly vulnerable to radiation, the Environmental Health Trust has termed 5G “the next great unknown experiment on our children”—and the entire human population.

Data is the New Oil

corbettreport

SHOW NOTES AND MP3: https://www.corbettreport.com/?p=25096 In this follow up to Why Big Oil Conquered the World, James further explores the concept of technocracy. If "Data is the New Oil" then what does that tell us about the 21st century oligarchy and the world that they are creating? And, once we understand the technocratic prison they are creating, how do we escape it? Don't miss this important episode of The Corbett Report podcast.

Europe rejects smart meters - Smart grid technology may not be needed

Diarmaid Williams
Power Engineering International

The transition to an intelligent electricity grid in Europe can take place without smart meters, according to industry players who spoke at the annual Eurelectric conference in Vilnius this week.

Euractiv reports that the news will embarrass the European Commission, which pushed a Europe-wide plan to roll out smart meters years ago.

More efficient means include quicker integration of renewables, the development of energy storage and energy demand response solutions, said the industry representatives.

The actual benefits of smart meters were also questioned at the conference, as several member states have done previously. Germany, for instance, has decided not to have a national roll-out plan at all, running counter to requirements laid out in EU legislation.

EU member states are required to implement smart meters under the 2009 Third Energy Package wherever it is cost-effective to do so, with the goal to replace 80% of electricity meters with smart meters by 2020.The 80% target applies to both households and commercial buildings, a Commission spokesperson confirmed. The EU executive will publish in the next one to two years a report on smart meters "in the context of our regular monitoring exercise of the progress of members states," the spokesperson said.

Progress had been sluggish across the bloc in installation of the equipment. And the countries that do have a commitment to smart meters, such as the UK, have run into hurdles in completing its roll-out because some meters would cease to work if a consumer decided to change energy supplier. Markus Merkel, a senior advisor to the management board of German distribution system operator (DSO) EWE, told the Eurelectric conference that "there isn't a positive business case" for smart meters in Germany.

Member states are expected to conduct their own cost-benefit analyses for their national smart meters roll-out plans, the official said.

"Smart" apartments are spying on everything you do

Mass Private I

Coming to an apartment and home near you, "smart' sensors that spy on everything you do.

According to the video, IOTAS's CEO, Sce Pike claims their surveillance technology allows your home to know you and becomes your ALLY! If spying on us in our homes is considered our ally then I've got a 'bridge' to sell you in Arizona.  Fyi, IOTAS is also dba as pluscitizen.com.

IOTAS is installing "smart" sensors otherwise known as surveillance tech in apartments before they're rented. IOTAS is coming to a property near you....

"In the coming months we'll be rolling out a beta program with partner properties across the country, and can't wait for you be involved."

IOTAS’s partners with property developers and owners, to install apartments with smart outlets, light switches, and motion sensors. The typical IOTAS apartment has about 40 sensors in it!

"Iota" is the ninth letter in the Greek alphabet and it means not an iota of truth, keep that in mind the next time they claim "smart" apartments are more efficient.

Esource reveals how truly invasive IOTAS's "smart" sensors really are...

Digital Electronic “Internet of Things”(IoT) and “Smart Grid Technologies” to Fully Eviscerate Privacy

James F. Tracey
Global Research

The “Internet of Things” (IoT) and Smart Grid technologies will together be aggressively integrated into the developed world’s socioeconomic fabric with little-if-any public or governmental oversight. This is the overall opinion of a new report by the Federal Trade Commission, which has announced a series of “recommendations” to major utility companies and transnational corporations heavily invested in the IoT and Smart Grid, suggesting that such technologies should be rolled out almost entirely on the basis of “free market” principles so as not to stifle “innovation.”[1]

As with the Food and Drug Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency, the FTC functions to provide the semblance of democratic governance and studied concern as it allows corporate monied interests and prerogatives to run roughshod over the body politic.

The IoT refers to all digital electronic and RFID-chipped devices wirelessly connected to the internet. The number of such items has increased dramatically since the early 2000s. In 2003 an estimated 500 million gadgets were connected, or about one for every twelve people on earth. By 2015 the number has grown 50 fold to an estimated 25 billion, or 3.5 units per person. By 2020 the IoT is expected to double the number of physical items it encompasses to 50 billion, or roughly 7 per individual.[2]

The IoT is developing in tandem with the “Smart Grid,” comprised of tens of millions of wireless transceivers (a combination cellular transmitter and receiver) more commonly known as “smart meters.” Unlike conventional wireless routers, smart meters are regarded as such because they are equipped to capture, store, and transmit an abundance of data on home energy usage with a degree of precision scarcely imagined by utility customers. On the contrary, energy consumers are typically appeased with persuasive promotional materials from their power company explaining how smart meter technology allows patrons to better monitor and control their energy usage.

Unveiled: New £200 'smart' meters every household must pay for (but may not work)

Comment: These devices are also extremely detrimental to human health.

------------------------------------

Daily Mail

A Government plan to put ‘smart meters’ into every British home – costing households £200 each – will be launched this week despite fears they will not work and that they pose a security risk to power supplies.

The £11 billion project, introduced to meet EU green targets, is supposed to cut down energy consumption and reduce bills.

But official reports seen by The Mail on Sunday reveal that: trials show consumers with smart meters save far less energy than predicted; five countries considering such a plan have decided it would cost more money than it saves; the meters do not work in a third of British homes, including high-rise flats, basements and those in rural areas: hackers and cyber-terrorists could break into the system  causing chaos in the national grid, or carry out large-scale fraud by fiddling bills.

Energy companies will begin the mass installation of smart meters next year at a cost of at least £200 per home, and have admitted the expense will be passed on to customers.

The EyeOpener Report- The Tyranny of Smart: Why the smart grid must be resisted & how to do it

Boiling Frogs Post / Sibel Edmonds

Smart technology represents less of a breakthrough in power distribution and more of a revolution in complete, constant, panopticon-like surveillance of everyone. As these smart technologies begin to invade our homes, we are becoming mere nodes in a giant network that we yet but dimly comprehend. Called the “Internet of Things,” the plan is to create a network that will eventually include every single object on the planet. And as the public is finally becoming aware, such networks provide golden opportunities for corporations and governments alike to collect data and spy on the population.

Find out about the Smart Grid, why it must be resisted, and how to do it in this week’s EyeOpener report with James Corbett.

A Vast Hidden Surveillance Network Runs Across America, Powered by the Repo Industry

Cryptogon

It’s not just law enforcement running those license plate scanners.

This is absolutely nuts.

Via: BetaBoston:

Few notice the “spotter car” from Manny Sousa’s repo company as it scours Massachusetts parking lots, looking for vehicles whose owners have defaulted on their loans. Sousa’s unmarked car is part of a technological revolution that goes well beyond the repossession business, transforming any industry that wants to check on the whereabouts of ordinary people.

An automated reader attached to the spotter car takes a picture of every license plate it passes and sends it to a company in Texas that already has more than 1.8 billion plate scans from vehicles across the country.

These scans mean big money for Sousa — typically $200 to $400 every time the spotter finds a vehicle that’s stolen or in default — so he runs his spotter around the clock, typically adding 8,000 plate scans to the database in Texas each day.

“Honestly, we’ve found random apartment complexes and shopping plazas that are sweet spots” where the company can impound multiple vehicles, explains Sousa, the president of New England Associates Inc. in Bridgewater.

But the most significant impact of Sousa’s business is far bigger than locating cars whose owners have defaulted on loans: It is the growing database of snapshots showing where Americans were at specific times, information that everyone from private detectives to insurers are willing to pay for.

While public debate about the license reading technology has centered on how police should use it, business has eagerly adopted the $10,000 to $17,000 scanners with remarkably few limits.

At least 10 repossession companies in Massachusetts say they mount the scanners on spotter cars or tow trucks, and Digital Recognition Network of Fort Worth, Texas, claims to collect plate scans of 40 percent of all US vehicles annually.

The Real Consequences of Corporatism, “Smart” Grid and Corrupt Government

"Corruption has no capability to auto-correct. Intervention is required."

Josh del Sol
Take Back Your Power

At the federal level, the illusion of representative government is now over. With a few exceptions, for-profit interests have colonized government systems that were originally intended to serve people.
The danger of allowing this virus to continue, of course, is that the casualty always eventually becomes life itself. Like any virus.

Presented to you is Exhibit A: chief telecom industry lobbyist Tom Wheeler now chairs the FCC.  This is yet another FDA-Monsanto-esque revolving door of corruption, which sidelines the rights and safety of an entire nation.

Reuters interviewed one veteran Washington telecom insider, who spoke anonymously:

“All of the senators in the Commerce Committee know Tom as a lobbyist who funnels funds to them, not as a stand-up guy from a regulatory agency who is able to take heat.”
Wheeler’s career has been dedicated to obsessively expanding the telecom industry to what it is now: an uncontrollable behemoth in league with the NSA and its ilk. And a facade which intentionally suppresses an avalanche of scientific evidence for the harm it is causing.

According to thousands of scientific studies, the inescapable truth is that Big Telecom’s cell phones, towers, and the offshoot “smart” networks which have spawned and are spidering throughout neighborhoods in the western world are harming all biological life – from the whole being down to the cellular level. From brain tumors to DNA damage to functional impairments such as tinnitus and insomnia. And from bees losing their homing ability to trees prematurely dying.  This is the conclusion presented from, literally, thousands of peer-reviewed studies.

Despite the unconscionable practice by Wheeler’s wireless industry to systematically cover all this up, skew the science, invent fake studies and oppress dissident researchers, the truth is becoming obvious. Or maybe not, if you’re one of perhaps several million who have had symptoms after having a “smart” meter installed – such as inability to sleep, increasingly foggy thinking, ringing in the ears, headaches or heart palpitations – but haven’t connected the dots as to the cause.

Last Thursday, activists brazenly called Wheeler out during his recent visit to San Francisco. And this coming Thursday, they will face down corrupted power brokers at the California Public Utilities Commission.

The so-called “smart” grid infrastructure facilitates unprecedented illegal data-mining by utilities and government, made complete with utility meters that enable their colonization of your home. (The CPUC has admitted plans to take the detailed in-home data harvested by “smart” meters, and sell it on the open market. And the US Government and Department of Justice have done a secret deal which facilitates the sharing of data harvested from “smart” grids, exempting utilities and other industries of any wrongdoing.  Note: There is no requirement to allow a “smart” meter on your home.  See the resources at bottom and contact your utility.)

Of course, all of this is illegal. And it’s based on boldfaced lies, misinformation and propaganda. The show has been taken over. There is no oversight left in town. No agency or department within this broken-down system is coming to our rescue.

Facebook Game Predicts Mind Controlled Smart Homes

Activist Post
Nicholas West

The other day I wrote about Google positioning itself as the lead developer of automated Smart Home technology that will essentially introduce robotic intelligence into every home.

As further evidence of why Google and others see that the future of surveillance and control is likely to be accepted, attendees of the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES) played the game What's Next? - a Facebook game "released by IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization, in order to predict the future of consumer electronics."

The future, as you will see, is upon us - and mind controlled devices are a central component.

For a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card, a substantial 42% of those who participated in a game designed to predict future trends revealed that they are not entirely satisfied even with an automated "anticipatory home" where the objects in it could be programmed to cater to their every need. Rather, these players preferred the ability to control appliances and systems by thought alone.

Dean Aslam, IEEE senior member and professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan State University, explained: “Through use of wearable Microsystems equipped with inexpensive and non-invasive brainwave and muscle sensors, we will be able to set specific patterns and thoughts to turn on ceiling fans, appliances or even lights. When you get cold, all you’ll need to do is blink your left eye twice or think about raising the temperature on the thermostat and you’ll warm right up. If you go to sleep without switching off lights and TV, they will be automatically switched off the moment the sensors find you in the state of sleep.” (Source)
The findings have led the developer of the game, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), to conclude that the gadget of the future is YOU. The Institute sees this as an indication that people are not yet prepared to relinquish full control to autonomous systems, but instead prefer to self-direct those applications and objects. For example:

Participants thought that the only thing better than having an app tell your coffee maker that it’s time to start brewing a fresh pot in the morning, is having their brains telling it to serve up a cup. 42 percent of respondents think that the future smart home appliances will be mind controlled.
However, while this desire for control could be seen as a positive development, it is also unsettling in its shortsightedness. It is like saying that because I can choose the app on my hypothetical smartphone - from a wide variety of choices - that it is actually MY app and will behave only as directed without any of personal data being collected, my personal choices being databased, or all of that being sold to the government and third parties for purposes well beyond my control. As we know from the revelations of Edward Snowden and others, this is a naive position to have taken.

Motorola wants you to tattoo a smartphone microphone onto your throat

Engadget

Okay, where to start on this one? Simply put, Motorola has applied for a patent of a microphone with a tranceiver and power supply that is designed to be tattooed onto your throat. The idea is to capture vibrations directly from your larynx in order to cut out background noise -- while eliminating something else you could lose, we imagine. The skin-borne device could communicate with your handset or other portable device by Bluetooth, NFC or other wireless protocols and would pack a battery that "may or may not be rechargeable." The patent adds that the technology could also be applied to "other animals," so we're a bit concerned that Motorola is taking its wearable schemes in the wrong direction.

Smart Grid: The Implementation of Technocracy?

Implementing 1930's-style Technocracy requires a method of monitoring, measuring and controlling consumption of energy on a nationwide basis. The federal government is racing to implement Smart Grid that will place a digital, Wi-Fi enabled power meter on every home in the U.S. Appliance makers are gearing up to include Smart Grid Wi-Fi circuitry, allowing two-way communication between your appliances, the power meter, the utility company and the Department of Energy.

According to the United Nations Governing Council of the UN Environmental Programme "our dominant economic model may thus be termed a 'brown economy." UNEP's clearly stated goal is to overturn the "brown economy" and replace it with a "green economy": (UNEP),
"A green economy implies the decoupling of resource use and environmental impacts from economic growth... These investments, both public and private, provide the mechanism for the reconfiguration of businesses, infrastructure and institutions, and for the adoption of sustainable consumption and production processes."  [p. 2]
Sustainable consumption? Reconfiguring businesses, infrastructure and institutions? What do these words mean? They do not mean merely reshuffling the existing order, but rather replacing it with a completely new economic system, one that has never before been seen or used in the history of the world.

This paper will demonstrate that the current crisis of capitalism is being used to implement a radical new economic system that will completely supplant it. This is not some new idea created in the bowels of the United Nations: It is a revitalized implementation of Technocracy that was thoroughly repudiated by the American public in 1933, in the middle of the Great Depression.

The Technocrats have resurfaced, and they do not intend to fail a second time. Whether or not they succeed this time will depend upon the intended servants of Technocracy, the citizens of the world.

Indeed, the dark horse of the New World Order is not Communism, Socialism or Fascism. It is Technocracy.
