Plymouth Olympian Sharron Davies and Dame Kelly Holmes have reacted with dismay after a trans woman with "a male body with male physiology" set four new world records while winning a women's powerlifiting event in America.

On Instagram, transgender powerlifter Mary Gregory shared her joy at winning 'nine out of nine' events at the Raw Powerlifting Federation Event - and setting new world records for Masters Squat, Open bench, Masters dead lift and Masters total.

"Still processing, full meet recap to come a bit later but I do want to thank a few people," said Mary in her Instagram post.

"A huge thank you to @raw_powerlifting_federation_, from the bottom of my heart! As a transgender lifter I was unsure what to expect going into this meet and everyone - all the spotters, loaders, referees, staff, meet director, all made me welcome and treated me as just another female lifter- thank you!

"And thanks to all the fans in the audience who cheered me on and congratulated me!"

There are 34,000 golf courses in the world. They make beautiful pictures. But what keeps the grass of the fairways and greens so uniform and undisturbed by weeds?

Chemical herbicides. One of the herbicide is Roundup, manufactured by Monsanto, the giant corporation owned by Bayer.

It’s now common knowledge that a link has been drawn between Roundup and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. “The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer…decided in 2015 that glyphosate is ‘probably carcinogenic to humans’.” (Mother Jones, March 14, 2019)

The research on the Monsanto pesticide Roundup is far from a finished product. Is it possible that Roundup causes other forms of cancer—brain, colon, and blood, for example? It will be hard to prove, in part because Monsanto can produced a hundred studies that contradict each lone study that says Yes.

But where are the golfers who have cancer? Nowhere, correct? Let’s find out.

UK officials show contempt for what voters love by ditching World Cup in Russia – John Pilger

Award-winning journalist and filmmaker John Pilger has blasted British politicians for refusing to attend World Cup matches in Russia, as the national team makes a historic run in the tournament. 

"Not a single UK official was in the stadium to see England's magnificent win v Sweden," Pilger, whose documentary work earned him many prestigious awards, including multiple BAFTA honors, tweeted on Saturday. "It's as if those who take the people's votes to assume power over them have utter contempt for what they care about, as well as for the truth."

Pilger criticized not only the ruling Tories but also Labour Party chief Jeremy Corbyn, who – despite being an outspoken leader of the opposition – fell into line with the government in shunning the World Cup.

It's so impossible to deny the obvious, even BBC showed positive reports from Nikolskaya St. The Swedish officials who mentioned boycotting the World Cup now plan to come to support their team. Even the US President, whose State Department has urged not to visit Russia for safety purposes, speaks extremely well of the World Cup. 

Comment: THIS is why they tried to take the tournament off Russia. This is why they tried to get it cancelled, moved, whatever. This is why they conducted black ops like the Skripal Affair and non-stop fake news about how god-awful Russia and Russians are. They dreaded what would happen when 2 million foreigners actually visited the place - including around 80,000 Americans - and had a grand old time.  And now Fake News has come crashing head-long into Reality.

The same party line that excluded Russia from participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics was again used to dampen Russia's credibility and its team's eligibility to compete in the tournament, which Russia will be hosting.

That line is that Russia cheats by doping up its players to give them an unfair edge over that of other nation's teams in order to score victory for Russia, which would then be used as a part of Russia's propaganda to show the world how great it is.

That's the party line, anyhow. But this time it hasn't worked. This time there's no 'whistleblower', but a report that led to a probe that, like the Mueller probe which investigates alleged Russian 'collusion' with the Trump campaign, failed to turn up any evidence.
The probe didn't find any evidence of doping, and the players, who were likely to participate in the World Cup competition, were exonerated.

English football fans' behavior is notorious in Europe. Theft, vandalism, death threats, rioting, and generally revolting and anti-social behavior are to be expected when they travel abroad to represent their country. And this year's Euro 2016 football competition in France has been no different.

The latest UK government lie about Russia (in what has been a spectacular few years of epic British-American lies about Russia) is that the Kremlin (i.e., VVP himself) trained, organized and dispatched the 150 or so 'martial arts-expert, weapon-wielding, genetically-super-engineered, Russian football ultra-commandos' who 'provoked' England football 'fans' into doing something they never, ever do - act like brain-dead neanderthals in other people's countries - and that it's all part of Russia's 'hybrid warfare' against Western civilization.

It's an absolutely ludicrous assertion of course, but one which is to be expected at a time when British-American monopoly over what exactly constitutes 'Western civilization' is fast eroding.
