The Rubio Doctrine: Neocons are back!

Ron Paul | Mises Institute

According to several recent news reports, the two major Trump foreign policy shifts last week are the handiwork of Marco Rubio, the President's Secretary of State and (acting) National Security Advisor. As with all neocon plans, they will be big on promises and small on delivery.

First up, according to Bloomberg it was Rubio who finally convinced President Trump to take "ownership" of the US proxy war on Russia, and for the first time place sanctions on Russia. Up to this point President Trump chose to portray himself as a mediator between Ukraine and Russia. But with this move against Russia's oil sector he can no longer credibly claim that this is "Joe Biden's war."

The Trump move followed a confusing few weeks since the Trump/Putin Alaska summit in August. After that meeting Trump dropped the neocon position that a ceasefire in the Russia/Ukraine war must occur before any peace negotiations. It was a sign that Trump was looking more realistically at the war. He also said he did not think Ukraine would win, which is pretty obvious.

A surprise call to Putin the day before Ukrainian president Zelensky was to arrive in town just over a week ago reinforced that position and Zelensky left Washington empty-handed. He was seeking Tomahawk missiles that could strike deep into Russian territory.

Then out of the blue President Trump last week announced through his Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent that the US would be sanctioning Russia's two largest oil companies until Russia declares a ceasefire in the war before negotiations. That won't happen, but what it does mean is that Rubio and the neocons have successfully gotten Trump to step on the escalation escalator. That is what they always do. It will be much harder to back down now.

At the same time the US Administration was jumping deeper into the Russia/Ukraine war, a long-time neocon dream was suddenly back in play. Although in Trump's first term a "regime change" operation was attempted against Venezuela, it failed spectacularly. But the neocons have long dreamed of overthrowing the Venezuelan government - they almost got their way back in 2002 - and suddenly after several weeks of extrajudicial murder on the high seas in the name of fighting the drug war, President Trump announced that land strikes on Venezuela would begin soon.

Straussians take control of the United Nations and NATO

Thierry Meyssan | Voltairenet.org

It had not been planned, but the proponents of the generalized war, the Straussians, expelled from the governing bodies of the United States, have regrouped in intergovernmental organizations. To everyone’s surprise, they are certainly present in the European Union, but especially in the United Nations and in the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine. Institutions dedicated to peace have been recovered by the warmongers.

For almost a year, President Donald Trump has been handing order to the United States. It has restored the principles of equality before the law and promotion to merit to the detriment of those of diversity, equity and inclusion (IED). He slashed in federal budgets everything that corresponded to imperial expenses and tried to restore the primary function of the armies, the defense of the homeland.

At the same time, we all see how he fails to conclude the peace he hoped for in Ukraine and Palestine. He lets the Europeans fight not for Ukraine, but against Russia and the coalition of Benjamin Netanyahu persist in his program of a “Greater Israel”, that is to say annexation of his neighbors.

However, we do not see the most serious: the Straussians, who held the dragee high under the mandates of George Bush Jr., Barack Obama and Joe Biden are still not defeated. They have withdrawn to two intergovernmental organizations: NATO and the UN.

On the sidelines of NATO, they have taken control of the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine (formerly the Ramstein Group) which, since 9 September, no longer meets alternately at the US military base in Ramstein and at NATO headquarters in Mons-Brussels, but now also in London.

They were the ones who organized, with the Ukrainian secret services, drone flights over the Western and North European airports. Then, they pushed for the delivery of German Patriot missile batteries to Ukraine, after secretly organizing the transfer of the first batteries from Israel.

They are still the ones who falsified the reports of the United Nations General Secretariat on the meetings of 19 and 26 September of the Security Council. Unlike these – which we have been wrong to believe in – the Security Council has not validated the return of sanctions against Iran. He did not have the power.

Orange Man Dead?

There are rumors that Trump's health isn't good. More than just rumors. Facts. It was disclosed a few weeks back that he suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, which isn't serious per se but does suggest he may have serious underlying problems and this is just a manifestation of them. Bruises have been spotted on his hands, too. They look like the bruises people on blood thinners tend to get. People who are on blood thinners tend to be people with serious chronic underlying problems.

Then there is the fact that he's been out of the public eye for about four days now. This is unusual for Trump, who - unlike Biden - likes to be in front of the cameras and likes to banter with the press.

It smells of something's wrong.

It is also something that goes deeper than whatever may be wrong with Trump. People who are old enough to remember the old Soviet Union in its declining days remember that just before it fell, it was run by a succession of old men. Some of them looked worse than the pickled corpse in the mausoleum they stood atop to wave at the crowds below.

And here we are, again.

Comment: Trump has been under the kind of enormous, relentless pressure over years that most people could never imagine, let alone handle. He is almost 80 years-old and the last decade may be catching up with him. Expect a hospital visit and the probability he might not come out.

Trump Team’s Peter Navarro Drops Third Major Report on Historic Election Fraud — Confirms “Trump Won”

Joe Hoft

The Populist Press just reported that Peter Navarro from the Trump Team has released a report showing President Trump won the 2020 Election.
Volume 3 of the Navarro Report is designed to serve as a capstone to what has been a comprehensive analysis of the question: Was the 2020 presidential election stolen from Donald J. Trump? In this report, we provide the most up-to-date statistical "receipts" with respect to the potential number of illegal votes in each battleground state.
In the report it begins by discussing the first and second reports and then shares this:
The broader goal of this final installment of the Navarro Report is to provide investigators with a well-documented tally of potentially illegal votes on a state-by-state and category-by-category basis. This tally is presented in Figure One on the next page of this report. Note that each number in this figure has a corresponding endnote identifying the source of the number. Note further that we have taken a conservative approach to the count of potentially illegal ballots.
The report continues:
In considering these truths, let us never forget two things: (1) The Democrat Party and its operatives stole the 1960 Presidential Election - it happened then and it can happen again; and (2) it took decades for historians to finally acknowledge the 1960 version of the Immaculate Deception in the face of the same kind of virtue-signaling and cancel culture pressures we are witnessing today.

Despite a similar quest to silence Republican and conservative voices today, 74 million Americans who voted for President Donald J. Trump have the right to a full investigation and bipartisan search for truth. If, however, the Democrat Party, RINO elements of the Republican Party, the anti-Trump mainstream media, and the out-of-control censoring social media oligarchs do not cease and desist from their efforts to suppress the search for truth about the 2020 election, history will judge all of these people, corporations, and institutions in the harshest possible manner.

"Our Very Democracy Is At Stake" - Joe Biden Launches Campaign For President

Comment: (A long belly laugh) Old Paedophile Biden is a Ghost runner. I wonder who the real manchurian candidate will be this time? Or will Trump manage to do it again?
---------------------

Zero Hedge

Following months of anticipatory leaks and the 'gropegate' scandal that nearly derailed the former VP's ambitions, Joe Biden, who has consistently polled at the top of the ever-expanding Democratic field, has finally announced his plans to seek the 2020 nomination.

In a video published via his twitter feed Thursday morning, the former vice president and Senator from Delaware declared his intention to run, declaring "the core values of this nation… our standing in the world… our very democracy...everything that has made America -- America - is at stake."

In the video, Biden framed his video with the infamous 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va., - a "defining moment for our nation in the last few years" - where a counter-protester was killed after a member of a white supremacist group plowed into a crowd with his car. He contrasted the march with the writing of the 'Declaration of Independence,' which was penned by Thomas Jefferson in Charlottesville more than 240 years earlier.

Biden will follow his announcement with a fundraiser on Thursday, then a rally Monday in Pittsburgh, Bloomberg reported, citing an announcement from his campaign. Over the next ten days, he plans to make stops in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina, the earliest primary and caucus states.

Though Biden's eight-year stint as Obama's VP gives him unrivaled name and brand recognition in a field of 20 candidates, Obama has said he won't make an endorsement until a nominee has been chosen. Online betting odds still favor Biden, 76, as the front-runner for the nomination, though "Democratic Socialist" Bernie Sanders is a close second, followed by the ascendant South Bend, Ind. mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Of course, Biden's well-documented history of inappropriate touching isn't his only major liability going into the Democratic primary (the Iowa caucuses are just 10 months away). The appearance of a quid-pro-quo involving Biden, his son, taxpayer money and a 'sweetheart' deal in Ukraine could very well become the scandal that finally proves his undoing.

Forget 'Creepy' - Biden Has A Major Ukraine Problem

Comment: For the context on "creepy" see HERE. "Inappropriate touching" doesn't even come close. God only knows what this guy has been up to behind closed doors.

---------------------

Zero Hedge

Joe Biden appears to have made a major tactical error last year when he bragged to an audience of foreign policy experts how he threatened to hurl Ukraine into bankruptcy if their top prosecutor, General Viktor Shokin, wasn't immediately fired, according to The Hill's John Solomon.
In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. -The Hill
"I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’" bragged Biden, recalling the conversation with Poroshenko.

"Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time," Biden said at the Council on Foreign Relations event - while insisting that former president Obama was complicit in the threat.

Joe Biden Accused of Sexual Misconduct by Heckler #MeToo

Comment: As the left/democrats like to say, this is: "Joe being Joe..." Right. Biden is a paedophile and sexual predator - probably one of the most famous child molesters in the public eye today. It gives you some idea just how bad this type of perversion has got if people like Biden can get away with it in full public view. What the hell happens privately?

"Strings are being pulled for Biden."

Today, former Vice President Joe Biden was heckled on his "Promise Me, Dad" book tour and was publicly accused of molesting children. #joebiden #biden2020 #pizzagate #pedogate #metoo

Sorry Hillary: Former Clinton Advisor Thinks Joe Biden May Be The Nominee

Douglas Schoen
Zero Hedge

There is now more than a theoretical chance that Hillary Clinton may not be the Democratic nominee for president.

How could that happen, given that her nomination has been considered a sure thing by virtually everyone in the media and in the party itself? Consider the possibilities.

The inevitability behind Mrs. Clinton’s nomination will be in large measure eviscerated if she loses the June 7 California primary to Bernie Sanders. That could well happen.

A recent PPIC poll shows Mrs. Clinton with a 2% lead over Mr. Sanders, and a Fox News survey found the same result. Even a narrow win would give him 250 pledged delegates or more—a significant boost. California is clearly trending to Mr. Sanders, and the experience in recent open primaries has been that the Vermont senator tends to underperform in pre-election surveys and over-perform on primary and caucus days, thanks to the participation of new registrants and young voters.

To this end, data from mid-May show that there were nearly 1.5 million newly registered Democratic voters in California since Jan. 1. That’s a 218% increase in Democratic voter registrations compared with the same period in 2012, a strongly encouraging sign for Mr. Sanders.

A Sanders win in California would powerfully underscore Mrs. Clinton’s weakness as a candidate in the general election. Democratic superdelegates—chosen by the party establishment and overwhelmingly backing Mrs. Clinton, 543-44—would seriously question whether they should continue to stand behind her candidacy.

There is every reason to believe that at the convention Mr. Sanders will offer a rules change requiring superdelegates to vote for the candidate who won their state’s primary or caucus. A vote on that proposed change would almost certainly occur—and it would function as a referendum on the Clinton candidacy. If Mr. Sanders wins California, Montana and North Dakota on Tuesday and stays competitive in New Jersey, he could well be within 200 pledged delegates of Mrs. Clinton, making a vote in favor of the rules change on superdelegates more likely.

Another problem: In recent weeks the perception that Mrs. Clinton would be the strongest candidate against Donald Trump has evaporated. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Mrs. Clinton in a statistical tie with Mr. Trump, and recent surveys from ABC News/Washington Post and Fox News show her two and three points behind him, respectively.

Then there is that other crack in the argument for Mrs. Clinton’s inevitability: Bernie Sanders consistently runs stronger than she does against Mr. Trump nationally, beating him by about 10 points in a number of recent surveys.

Lavrov: US is organizing a coup d'etat in Russia

Ukrainia

Russia’s foreign minister said that the US is stoking regime change in Russia with its sanctions.

There are serious reasons to believe that the US is using its sanctions in an attempt to destabilize Russia and change its current political system, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview to France 24.

"I have serious reasons to believe that it is so. Some politicians don't even hide the fact," Lavrov said answering a question.

He said Russia would not only survive the sanctions but would come out even stronger afterward.

"As Vice President Biden said publicly, it was the US that ordered Europe to join sanctions against Russia," Lavrov said. "Unfortunately, for several years we overestimated the independence of the EU and several major European countries. This is geopolitics."

Lavrov recalled that several times in its history Russia had been in much worse situations but had always emerged stronger.
