Disgraced ex-Prince Andrew had 40 prostitutes brought to Thailand hotel on taxpayer-funded trip, biographer says

Disgraced Prince Andrew allegedly once had 40 prostitutes brought to his five-star hotel during a taxpayer-funded trip to Thailand, his biographer has claimed.

Andrew, who was officially stripped of his titles on Thursday and evicted from his royal residence in a humiliating fall from grace, engaged with the bevy of women over a four-day stretch, royal historian and author Andrew Lownie alleged.

“There was a famous trip to Thailand — for the birthday celebrations of the King. Andrew is representing his country and insists on staying in a five-star hotel rather than the embassy, which he always did,” Lownie told the Daily Mail’s “Deep Dive: The Fall of the House of York” podcast.

“Andrew had 40 prostitutes brought in the space of four days. This was all enabled by diplomats and others.”  Lownie said multiple sources, including a member of the Thai royal family, had backed up the allegation.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor told disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein it would be “good to catch up in person” after the paedophile was released from prison for prostituting minors, an email from 2010 has revealed.

The email chain shows Epstein suggested the then-prince should meet American banker Jes Staley and Andrew responded saying he would try to “drop by” New York later in the year.

The two were later pictured together in Central Park in New York in December 2010 in a meeting Andrew claimed in his 2019 Newsnight interview was to break off their friendship.

It comes as calls mount for Andrew to answer questions in the US over his ties to Epstein. Multiple members of a US congressional committee investigating the financier’s crimes have made fresh appeals for the disgraced royal to come forward.

On Thursday, the King took the dramatic decision to officially remove Andrew’s Prince and Duke of York titles and HRH style. He will be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, effectively having the status of a commoner.

It comes after Virginia Giuffre’s devastating posthumous memoir was published, detailing fresh accusations about his ties with Epstein. Andrew denies the accusations.

He will now move to a property on the Sandringham Estate, which will be privately funded by the King.

Disgraced former duke asked his taxpayer-funded bodyguard to investigate teenager who accused him of sex abuse 

Prince Andrew tried to smear his teenage sex abuse accuser by passing her confidential information to police, it has been claimed.

The Prince asked his taxpayer-funded police bodyguard to investigate Virginia Giuffre and passed him her date of birth and social security number, a leaked email revealed. 

He then told Buckingham Palace aide Ed Perkins, who at the time was Elizabeth II’s deputy press secretary, that he had asked one of his personal protection officers to dig up information about Ms Giuffre.

The revelations, published by the Mail on Sunday, came just 24 hours after the King moved against Prince Andrew amid fears that a newly unearthed email sent to Jeffrey Epstein would open the floodgates to more scandal, the Telegraph understands.

The Prince was forced to give up his remaining royal titles after it emerged he had stayed in touch with the paedophile longer than he had previously admitted.

The email, which emerged last week, exposed a fundamental “fault line” in Andrew’s defence and proved a “tipping point” for the King, palace sources said.

The revelation that the Prince had lied to the public presented a serious reputational risk to the monarchy and the King personally decided to act.

 The matter was then dealt with swiftly, with Andrew pressed to accept the latest sanction in a matter of hours. His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has also given up her title.

The Prince is said to have emailed Mr Perkins hours before an infamous photograph was published in February 2011 that showed him with his arm around Ms Giuffre’s waist.

 “It would also seem she has a criminal record in the States,” he wrote, according to reports. “I have given her DoB [date of birth] and social security number for investigation with XXX, the on-duty ppo [personal protection officer].”

Prince William’s scheduled trip to Israel this summer would contravene seven decades of British policy against official visits to Israel by the royal family. Despite many invitations, the royal family has avoided visits to avoid giving a royal stamp of approval to Israel’s decades-old violations of Palestinian human rights. As Israel’s far-right government intensifies its violations of international law, this is no time to change this precedent. The UK should pressure Israel to end its violations of Palestinian rights and cancel Prince William's trip. 

On March 1, the British monarchy announced that Prince William will visit Israel as part of a regional trip this summer, becoming the first royal family member to do so. Palestinian civil society, as represented in the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions National Committee (BNC), calls on the UK Government to cancel Prince William’s visit to avoid adding insult to the many injuries inflicted by British imperialism on the indigenous people of Palestine.
 
The Israeli government has a well-documented record of using international visits to mask its grave human rights abuses. It will use this visit to cover up its ongoing piecemeal massacre against unarmed Palestinian protesters in Gaza demanding freedom and the UN-stipulated right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes of origin.

“Royal-washing” Israel’s decades-old military occupation and apartheid against the Palestinian people is wrong. And it is exceptionally offensive when coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the 1948 Nakba, or catastrophe, when Palestinian society was destroyed and most Palestinians were ethnically cleansed, largely due to official British complicity in the Zionist settler-colonial project in Palestine.

We Will NOT Fight For Queen and Country

In 1914 it was "For King and Country". Today it is "For Queen and Country". Ex-British soldier Ben Griffin says why we should reject the "false religion" patriotism used to take us into war.

Fight for Queen and Country, what does that mean? It is a jingoistic phrase dreamt up by some propaganda merchant intent on stoking the fire of that false religion patriotism.

The idea of fighting for Queen and Country is held tight by those who never have and never will actually fight.

It is held by those who long to bask in the reflected glory of war.

It is held by those who have no experience of the suffering that war inflicts.

It is an idea held up by those who gain the most from war, Politicians, Generals, The Arms Industry and The Media.

It is a phrase that is dredged up again and again to stifle dissent and build unquestioning support for the aggression we choose to unleash.

We must look at what lies behind this decrepit phrase.

Who is it doing the fighting?

A well-trained and professional force that’s highest collective desire is to go to war, any war.

This force does not fight for Queen and Country. it fights when it is told to fight.

Even when the Generals believe that a certain war is illegal or un-winnable or detrimental to the long-term security of these isles, when it comes to the crunch they always want war.

What does the fighting involve?

Well if you believe the media or the citations written for medals awarded you might imagine that the fighting consists of bayonet charges, lone hand grenade assaults on enemy positions or modern-day spitfire pilots scrambling to some noble action.

In my experience the reality is a lot darker:

• Long periods of waiting punctuated by unforeseen moments of extreme violence.
• Having your legs blown off by an IED.
• A supposed ally shooting holes in your chest.
• Dying in a helicopter crash.
• Burning to death in a transport plane.
• Being beaten to death by an angry mob.
• Being shot in the face as you break into someones home.

The reality is setting up thousands of checkpoints in the country you have occupied, disrupting the lives of the people and then killing them when they approach too quickly or fail to stop in time.

The reality is raiding people’s houses, using explosives to enter homes. Detaining previously unknown males some as young as 15 and handing them over to be tortured. Whilst their families are left to fend for themselves, Traumatised by your action.

The reality is killing people from the safety of an attack helicopter or drone control room. As if you are playing a computer game, with no regard for the lives of people who have been dehumanised.

Haji, Raghead, Sand Nigger, Chogie, Argie, Paddy, Gook, Chink, Jap. Kraut, Hun. All terms used by our armed forces. The product of a society which still believes in its superiority over other people’s and cultures.

We pretend that we wage war for higher, noble causes. We claim that our armed forces fight for Freedom, Democracy or Human Rights.

This is not the case. We wage war according to Policy. It is a choice determined by Government. This policy is influenced by those who gain the most from war. Politicians, Generals, The Arms Industry and The Media.

These scoundrels always predict victory. Always insist that violence is the answer. They Ignore the inevitability of unforeseen consequences. The existence of Blow-back  The fact that it is our own policy that creates our enemies.

They deny that we have been defeated to maintain support for current and future bloodletting.

The reasons they give for starting wars rarely match the reasons they give for continuing wars and rarely match the actual outcomes.

These scoundrels currently hold the noble position of backing a military junta in Mali against insurgents that we decided to arm in Libya.

Before that they celebrated the Arab Spring whilst turning a blind eye to Saudi Arabian aggression in Bahrain. Where weapons that we supplied were used by our Saudi allies to kill civilians engaged in non-violent protest. Their silence in this matter shines a light on their complicity.

In both Iraq and Afghanistan, once the reasons for going to war were found to be false, or unattainable or just forgotten, those with a vested interest in continuing the wars resorted to one of the oldest tricks in the book.

They cultivated the myth of the soldier as hero.

They told you that you might not understand why the war continued but that you should support the soldiers.

They Told you that to stop the pointless slaughter would be sacrilege to those heroes that had already died.

Truth is the first casualty of war and tonight you will see this phenomenon first hand. You will hear men speak in reasonable tones using educated language to mount a defence of Fighting for Queen and Country.

They will argue that at the very least we must be ready to defend this country. But they are talking about a hypothetical situation. The Taliban are not going to invade, The Chinese are not massing on the coast of France.

From positions of vested interest they will try to convince you that Fighting for Queen and Country is your highest duty. But what they are really calling for is a continuation of business as usual. Fighting and killing in accordance with their policy. Which is designed to fulfill their interests, their greed, their ambition.

I am a Human Being and my allegiance is not to Queen and Country but to the whole of Humanity.

I no longer accept the lies which perpetuate war.

I no longer accept that violence can lead to Peace.

Never again will I be complicit in the killing and torture of my Brothers and Sisters.

Never again will accept the vile religion of Patriotism.

I refuse to pull on that rancid uniform.

I refuse to fight for Queen and Country.

Climate change root cause of Syrian war: Britain’s Prince Charles

Comment: Like most of the individuals that make up our modern-day monarchies Prince Charles' shows just how out of touch and idiotic his line of thinking is. While environmental scarcity is a factor, it is the overarching objective of Western elites and their creation of proxy armies (Al-Qaeda/ISIS) and the devastation they have wrought that is the primary culprit. To graft on climate change ideas onto the attempts to oust Assad and the consequent destabillisation as something that could have been dealt with as if it wasn't wholly sourced from the Establishment of which he is part, is both ignorant and insulting to the families who suffer and forced to flee. A very much engineered migration. 

Then it's hardly surprising give that British Royalty has a tradition of eco-fascism ring-fenced with a feudalistic ethos.

The heir to the British throne is due to give a keynote speech at the opening of a global climate summit in Paris next week where 118 leaders will gather to try to nail down a deal to limit rising greenhouse gas emissions. 

 

The prince said in an interview with Sky News, to be aired on Monday and recorded before the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris, that such symptoms were a “classic case of not dealing with the problem”. 

 

“Some of us were saying 20 something years ago that if we didn’t tackle these issues, you would see ever greater conflict over scarce resources and ever greater difficulties over drought, and the accumulating effect of climate change which means that people have to move,” he said. 

 

“And in fact there’s very good evidence indeed that one of the major reasons for this horror in Syria, funnily enough, was a drought that lasted for about five or six years, which meant that huge numbers of people in the end had to leave the land but increasingly they came into the cities.”

While we're all going back in time to talk about bigwigs who supported and/or collaborated with the Nazis, let's take a look at this smoking gun that recently appeared in the London Review of Books: documentary proof of the former King of England's treason with the Nazis, supplying them with top-secret info from high-level war strategy meetings. (Of course, I suppose the Mufti of Jerusalem talked the Duke of Windsor into this treachery; as we all know, thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu, the Mufti had magical powers that could make even a good guy like Hitler do bad things.)

The Duke of Windsor appears also to have been a traitor (Letters, 10 September and Letters, 24 September). At the outbreak of war in 1939, he was made a major-general attached to the British Military Mission in France. In that capacity he would have attended Allied War Council meetings. It became known after the war that he had made a visit to The Hague in January 1940 (the Netherlands was still neutral then) and paid a visit to the German Embassy there. Royal Family may be investigated in child sex inquiry

The British Royal Family will not be exempt from scrutiny over pedophile allegations and may be asked to provide evidence to a newly launched child sex abuse inquiry, it has emerged.

Justice Lowell Goddard, the New Zealand judge chairing the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, had initially not included the Royal household in a list of institutions to be investigated over historical crimes.

However, a statement from the inquiry, launched on Thursday, later confirmed the monarchy would also be “within the scope” of the investigation.

The child abuse inquiry could take up to five years and cost £100 million, it has been confirmed, as authorities will investigate every level of British society including local authorities, the police, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the NHS, the media and armed forces.

Justice Goddard told the Times: “There is no limit on the types of institutions that fall within the terms of reference. The monarchy is an institution and it runs a number of other institutions, all of which are potentially within the scope of the inquiry.”

In a statement, Goddard described the investigation as “the most ambitious public inquiry” ever undertaken in England and Wales.

The Royal household has come under scrutiny in recent years following several allegations of child sexual abuse.
